My favourite character, Jarl MacAllister (and at the time, I didn't know jarl was a word meaning 'king') is a Rogue/Fighter with a heavy ninja bent -- if you take away stealth and replace it with swift, violent force. He is loud, obnoxious, and entirely too bold.
For example, he thought it would be a great idea to shatter open a door with a lightning bolt wand so that the entire dungeon floor would hear it and come to him. All at once. And it did.
He dined on whatever monster (aberration, magical beast, vermin, giant mammals etc.) he happened to kill that day, just to say he did. His favourite meal was roast basilisk, if a bit dry and chalky, and he felt some vindication in eating roast Green Dragon flesh after it killed our Paladin.
A locked, iron door separated him from a great prize (or so he thought), so he found a pair of sledges and, with help, proceeded to beat the stone out from AROUND the door until he got through. Good ol' hardness/HP rules. 'Course, as it turned out, behind the door was a temple to Tharizdun...
