I just found this on my hard drive, and figured I'd post it up here so that other ENWorlders could use it. Basically, I was writing up some 9th level characters, and got as far as the background and levels before getting distracted by other things. However, with a little tweaking, these four could be transplanted into most campaigns with little fuss. Hope someone can find a home for them!
Without further ado, here they are.

Without further ado, here they are.
Lord Malik (human male Fgt9) - the landowner, with the land granted to him by the King after he personally saved his life during the Fourth War. He is a very capable commander, not afraid to lead from the front but knowing when to step back and view the battlefield from a distance. Rarely seen without armour and bears the sword Ynyr, reclaimed from the tomb of the legendary hero Aelfric. His emblem is a sword over an anvil.
Jamilah (human female Sor9) - Malik’s long-time friend. She is a magic-user of considerable experience and knowledge. It was her ability to solve problems and unscramble riddles that lead to the successful conclusion to find the sword Ynyr. She has taken a green seven-pointed-star as her emblem, after defeating the Warlock-King in spell-battle.
Cahan Tyrone (human male Clr9) - respected Priest of the God. Spiritual advisor to Malik and Jamilah, he also hopes to marry them one day. Utterly steadfast, totally reliable, he has healed them more times than any of them care to admit. Wears the shield Dunmar on his right arm, given to him by the High Priest in the capital many years ago. The shield was broken in combat with the Giants, but Cahan took the pieces to the Dwarves and it was repaired, strong as ever. So too, is Cahan’s faith and power in the name of the God. Uses a warhammer over a diamond shape.
Athol Mordechai (human male Fgt4/Rog5) - gifted jack-of-all-trades, equally happy in all situations. Has been known to go from a tavern brawl, to a high-class party, to a rooftop chase and back to the gambling tables all in one night. A deadly swordsman with his elegant rapier, which he always names Puncture, to the distaste of the others. Intelligent, charming, and not afraid to steal the rings off your fingers if given the chance. Most famously escaped the debacle in Gordheim with little more than injured pride, although he claims the whole affair could have been avoided if the Host hadn’t been such a sore loser…Uses no emblem.
