Is this the first RPG to use the source materials theme song as part of the task resolution system ?
I actually really like the tabs mechanics, too. Like it isn’t just a dumb fan service gimmick, it should genuinely drive the rhythm of the “episode” into a rhythm fairly similar to the show, and also very satisfyingly build momentum leading to that point where things pop off and all hell breaks loose at the end.

So basically, the "Let's Jam" part of the session is where your party can pretty much start pulling out your A-Team antics since you'll be helping each other out via your Rythm Points, I would be assuming.

When meeting a new RPG for the first time, I always take a look at the character sheet to get an idea of what I expect.

When I looked at Cowboy Bebop's character sheet, I was pleasantly surprised. The game looks simple and story-focused. Exactly the type of RPG I'd expect out of this amazing anime (which I'm a big fan of).

Count me in! 🤗🖤

DriveThru was hacked last night apparently, that might explain it. They apparently don't think any user data was compromised, but a password change might be in order anyway.

I downloaded it last night. I was half asleep at the time but it took a bit of re-reading to get it. Especially what a tab was. It was mentioned then breifly explained then mentioned some more then properly explained. So when I finally got it Ihad to go back and reread the rules that interacted with them. (but again this might have been a side effect of it being late. I kept misreading Bounty and Bounty hunters which didn't help)
It's pretty high concept in terms of structure. They are going all out in getting a session to flow like a bebop episode. Which I suspect will be a bit marmite to use a British phrase.(you'll love it or hate it)
I did like the way they used examples from episodes to explain some of the concepts so you could see the thinking behind it but I feel some people will find it restrictive.
