Do the numbers on the below item look good to you all?

This (insert sloted item) adds to the wearers Strength score, Wisdom score and Charisma scores in the form of an enhancement bonus of +1 to +6.
CL 10th; Craft Wondrous Item, bull’s strength, eagle’s splendor, owl’s wisdom; Price 4,000 gp (+1), 16,000 gp (+2), 36,000 gp (+3), 64,000 gp (+4), 100,000 gp (+5), 144,000 gp (+6); Weight 15 lb.

1. I think there is a principle (not sure where it is stated) that stat booster items should only grant bonuses in multiples of two (+2, +4 etc). This is true of all stat boosters at least in the core books. This prevents the item from functioning differently depending on whether your stats are even or odd. eg. The +1 version of your item will benefit a character with all odd stats, but will not benefit (at all) a character with all even stats.

2. I think the specific slot is relevant to the price, because of the rules regarding affinities. You can't price this item without specifying which slot it is going to occupy. Some slots will have an affinity with one (but not all) of the item's boosts.

the general idea is that enhancements come in +2 increments so that no matter what your stat is, you'll always get a +1 bonus from it.

Well, it might be the general idea... But there's no place it says that, thats the only way.

Looking at the guidelines for pricing it should be very posible for a "+3 STR" item to exist.

Anyway, i don't think the pricing it corretc.. shouldn't it be 5000 for a +1?
1000 x 1 +
1000 x 1 x 2 +
1000 x 1 x 2 +
= 5000

1 "primary" ability score addon, and 2 "secondary" effects.

i.. think

According to the Behind the Curtain: Magic Item gold Piece Values box on pg 282 of the DMG v3.5, it's only a 50% increase in price for such additional bonuses.

Slot may be relevant

You could say that the slot affinity only applies to the primary ability ability of an item. In this case you could, for instance, nominate strength as the primary ability, and have the item be a belt, or nominate wisdom or intelligence and make it a headband. Given that it improves two mental stats it should probably be a headband or similar.

However I personally feel (because the abilities are all the same in power, and any "primary" ability is therefore an arbitrary choice) that this item should be priced 50% higher as having an uncustomary space limitation.

In either case it would definitely be an uncustomary space limitation if it was boots or something.

Apart from that I agree with your pricing according to the tables. Given that the tables are only a guide, you have my 2cp to guide you as well.

At least there are items out there, which add +1 only (the tomes and manuals).

Enhancing three attributes means the cost is four times the cost for one attribute (since two of them are increased in cost by 50% for the slot-saving, which adds up to another +100%).

Your numbers look exactly right.

Slot should most likely be a belt (as the belt of magnificence).

Bye

Well, the weight is kind of silly.

By the magical wrongo DMG chart the item should be more like 22,000gp for a +2, 88,000gp for a +4, and 198,000gp for a +6. That is, 50% more for each secondary (and tertiary) ability, and 50% for body-slot issues. That said, I might inflate these to a reasonable 24,000gp for +2, 96,000 for +4, and 216,000gp for +6. But the 22/88/198 numbers should be fine.
