I would love to particapate in this as a game day judge for any of the D20 D&D games... especially living Kalamar or Forgotten realms as in the living City.

I am up for any time.. if for some reason there is a time conflict as soon as I know the time I will let you know if there is a conflict..(I am due to go in for surgery soon, that would be the only conflict in time ok)

What?!? PLAY THROUGH THE PAIN YOU WUSS!!!

:D

Best of luck in hospital, Nikmal. The Living Kalamar game seemed pretty popular last time around, so it'd be great if you'd like to run that or Living City... or anything else you want.

For anybody who has their heart set on a non-d20 game, please don't hesitate to offer your game. If I'm curious enough, I'll probably sign up! ;)
FWIW, I've gotten Hero Games to volunteer some copies of Sidekick as prizes if I run a game with it. I wanted use it for a Smallvile kind of thing, but seeing as I promised to do Dark*Matter, I could always do it with Sidekick instead of d20. :) Assuming people would go for that.

Or I could just run two games... but I dunno if I have the stamina for that.

Random thought: Would having some sort of sign or placard at each table saying what game was being run be useful at all? Or do people find their tables pretty easily? Might having the signs serve as quick advertising for walk-ins?

I've never had a problem finding my tables at the gameday. If there was some confusion, it was really solved by at most two minutes of asking all of the friendly fellow nerds. And quite often, if a GM sees lost sheep and is also missing people, they'll call out and ask what they're lookin for.

I don't think we'll have too much of a problem with lack of d20 this time around. I've heard several people buzzing ideas around about d20 this or that, and I know Barendd and I will both be running (sort of togther...) a D&D mini-tournament--so that's like room for 12 already. So to echo what Painfully said, definitely, if you have something non-d20, don't be afraid to mention it, just try to have a nice selection of d20 for everyone.

I have not yet contacted him, but I will. You're just full of good ideas! :)

Thanks! You might want him to pass on the info about the GameDay as well. Some of them might be local enough to come and run their stuff. I got a reply from RPG Objects and Chris is considering coming out (assuming it is NOT on Origins Weekend). Either way, WE'VE GOT PRIZES!!! :D

I am so happy I could tap dance on Tokyo!

Excellent! I'll need to get you a Game Day Deputy badge or something. :)

It might be a good idea, and a great way to help the walk-ins. By the way, buzz, my offer to serve as a back up GM still stands. (I am working on my homebrew, but I can fill in with something I ran over a year ago if you need me.)
