Yeah, unfortunately I seem to be the only one in this area, but thanks for the advice. BTW, if any of y'all show up at GenCon, let me know. Stop by the ENnie awards and look for the audio booth, I'll be there.

Don't limit yourself to just ENWorld (though it's one of the biggest communities). Also look to places like RPG.net, NearbyGamers, and Meetup.com. And don't forget the forums of publishers you enjoy.

And there's always virtual solutions, i.e., the various play-by-Interwebs apps and such.

Mark - Carbondale is only a stone's throw from the house, it's also where I posted my flyer...It's the only place around here with a game shop. Like I said, they still organize D&D book burnings in this area.

You might need to get more active with SIU folks. I hear they have a good Creative Writing MFA Program there, so maybe that's a lake to drag.

And yes, y'all is a contraction for you and all... I have yet to figure out what "yews guys" is though... Here's to getting up that way one of these days.

It's "youse guys", actually. It's not a contraction, just a mispronunciation, probably stemming from a heavy accent.

FWIW, I'm not from the south, but I say "y'all" all the time anyway.
