Hello Buzz,
That's cool as long as this morning Game 7 has a table with chairs since it will be a sit down RPG game.
All of the 4x8 tables have as many chairs as desired.

Buzz,

As promised, I am detailing a "back up" game for slot 1. (I have an event for slot 2.) What is a back up game? Well, in case a DM cancels or we have many walk-ins, I am willing to back out of an event in slot 1 to run an adventure. (buzz, if you can give me advance notice in case of cancellations, I would appreciate it.) I ran "RAID" several game days back... I think during the first Gameday. Players then included Trevalon Moonleirion and Eric Noah.

Now, what happens if we have a need for an emergency GM in slot two? I can't be in two places at once ... although I have tried. ;) However, I am willing to give an EN Worlder who volunteers to be a back up DM ahead of time a copie of the adventure, characters, and the maps. (Any suggestions on mapping software. The maps are not to difficult.)

So, here is the back up adventure... hopefully we will not have to use it.

"RAID"
DM: William Ronald
System: Dungeons and Dragons, 3.5
Description: You and your fellow adventurers have been asked to investigate the disappearance of several villagers in a remote county. Why have they disappeared, and who is responsible for the disappearnces? An adventure for six players (I can likely accomodate eight). Pre-generated characters of 7th level.

Man, not only do we have a near-full roster of events --and an overflowing morning slot-- but we've got *back-up* events. Sweet. :)

This may not take up slot six, but for the second session I would like to offer the A B C's of painting miniatures.

This class would be open ended to answer questions, demonstrate techniques etc. Find out about thinning paints, blending, layering, dry brushing etc. I will also cover materials used, from thinning agents to brands of paint, glue etc.

I often meet people who just need a little assistance to really improve their painting, well this is it.

I am currently just rambling and will provide a better description in the near future. I will take up to 4 people, but on the chance that there is more interest, I am easily persuaded :)

A minis painting class is a phenomenal idea, KTT! How about I add it as a bonus "seminar" instead of an event?

Will it be solely Q&A, or will you acutally have participants doing some painting?

Active painting.

I will bring miniatures, brushes, paints.... supplies that way anyone can participate, but if people have their own stuff I encourage them to bring it.

The second slot can usually go long...and I plan to do so, with thalmin's permission. What I'd also like to do is to take a twenty minute break sometime toward the midway point of slot two and check out the painting table.

Toe - If you're up to it, maybe you could put together a twenty minute seminar with some quick tips for folks who do some painting but could use some insights on how to take an average paint job and make it look better? Perhaps, even, the other second slot tables might like to stagger a break in the games so that you could go through the seminar a few times for those who are interested. Does that sound too ambitious?
