How about a table for miniature trading? It could have the different factions with the listing of what each miniature is (rare, common, uncommon) and a place for people to discuss different strategies?

I'm not interested in the latter but I've got a lot of PC style minis that I'd love to get rid of in exchange for more beasts.

I just wanted to chime in and perhaps make sure what barendd and i wanted was a bit more clear. In order to do this table vs. table type thing, it would really be best to have one of us in the room and one out in the room (preferably near the dry-erase board, I'm thinking, but that's a popular table :D) And if at all possible, it'd be swell to be at one of the minis tables for about the last hour of the morning slot...

This is gonna be a lot of fun! :D

Are you still in Aurora? It looks like I too will be moving before the gameday so, I was wondering if I could leave the prize support with you. I do not want it to get lost in the shuffle. Let me know.
No problemo, if that's easiest for you. PM or email me about it.

Okie doke. Here's the shake down regarding the two slots/tables I'll be handling during the next gameday...
You've already got players signed up? I guess as Gameday Platinum member that's your perogative... :)

Hey Buzz,
See if you can fit me into the morning slot first.
Since we have the room, I added you as a special seventh event in the morning slot. Let's give it a shot.

Hello Buzz,
That's cool as long as this morning Game 7 has a table with chairs since it will be a sit down RPG game.
If there are no extra tables with chairs in the morning slot then put me into an open game with table and chairs in the evening slot.
Since Ravenloft is a different and unusual world a lot of people have never tried before, I am hoping it might draw attention and attract some new players. If so, I will encourage them to buy the Ravenloft sourcebook and other supplements there in the store.

:-)

Since May 1st is rapidly approaching, I will again ask if anyone would be interested in me running the second Darwin's World (d20 modern) event, The Road to Nowhere: N2 Roadkill, in the evening slot? I will have time to prepare both if I know ahead of time.

I guess the question is: How much Post-Apocalyptically Mutant-flavored fun can you handle!?!

AFAIC, until I can shoot GIANT FRICKIN' LASER BEAMS from my eyes, I haven't had enough. Duh. :]

Still, it's only Tuesday. I'll send out a notice about the deadline to the mailing list tonight; if there are still spots open by the end of the week, go ahead and post your game.

(Only if you want to, mind you. If we end up with less than six games in the afternoon, so be it. No one should feel obligated to run two games just because. If player response warrants it, we can see about adding more events.)

Heck, I spoke too soon. I forgot to add thalmin's minis game, so we're down to only a single event left to fill. Let's give the stragglers time to make a bid for it. :)

Personally, I'd love it, since I'm running something in slot 1 and can't play that game. I don't know how much I can handle, but starting slow (only 1 slot) will reduce my chance of permanent injury. ;)
