I agree with Curt... those didn't help my girlish figure at all. Well actually they did...since I'm a guy and I'm trying to GET RID OF my girlish manboobs...

RAT BASTARDS, BRINGING FATTENING FOOD......why I oughtta...LOL :)

Down, boy, Down! You're drooling on your keyboard.

(Now say goodnight, Curt, it's way past your bedtime)

A good time was indeed had by all. PC ran a great superhero game (I got to be a kid-superhero with a predeliction for busting a rhyme), and Mark's D&D game was a hoot though we generally did play like the Three Stooges (though there were 4 of us and 4 henchmen).

Hmm, some memories...

Dinkledog played a dog! Woof!

Cat Crap Brownies.

Gah, two hour drive back erased my brain. I'll post more later.

Glad to see you got back safe and sound, Eric.

But now it's time for this little nerd to go to sleep. He's had a lot of fun today, playing D&D and Feng Shui for like 10 hours.

No, BN, there are still some "cat treats" left. Should I save them for you for next time? :D
Speaking of which, is it too early to start planning the next Game Day? Mark and I were thinking late October.

There is a big RPGA Con in Milwaukee in late October (weekend of Sat. Oct. 26), so if that date was pick, that would rule out....maybe 1 attendee! :D

Mark and I have put pictures up. His are at his Creative Mountain Games page and mine are at my EN Gameday page
Warning: May take a while on a slow connection.

Well done, Kent! Thanks for adding the link. The boards were down when I checked in this morning.

I'd like to take a few moments to thank everyone who helped out with the Gameday including all of the DMs and Curt (thalmin) of Games Plus for the help organizing and running the events. Additionally, I'd like to thank TheMisterEricNoah (founder of this community), Ben Durbin (Wulf Ratbane) of BadAxe Games, and Mark Plemmons of KenzerCo for the wonderful prizes they donated to the event (all of you are incredibly generous gentlemen). I'd also like to thank everyone who showed up and made it such a fun day! I'm already looking forward to the next one... :D

Argh! Apologies to Wulf for forgetting Bad Axe Games. :o Big "D'oh!" to me--I even voted for your book in the "Which Dwarf Book Will You Buy?" Poll. And I still want your Bad Axe t-shirt! :D

Yep, great games. Thanks Nobeard and Moonlierion for the awesom times! The brain and cat litter were an excellent touch.

Thanks Mr. Plemmons and Mr Durbin for the awesome swag. The stuff you gave out was excellent. In fact, I love it so much I plan on launching my review career here at d20reviews with the Dwarves book. Piratecat, your module was so good I think even if we didn't have Trevalons substantial DM skill we would have had a great time.

October, well I think that should be ok. Are we going for a tri-annual type thing? I thought the Chi-Town gameday was just bi-annual. With Gen-Con, Origins, Ren Fairs and the occasional NERO weekend 5+ gamedays a year might send my GF over the edge.

Mark, have you considered maybe a monthly or quarterly "Midwest ENworld Gameday"? Looked like we had a few people from Milwaukee, maybe a Wisconsin-Illinois-Indiana-Illinois rotation or something? That way the hardcore enworlders could carpool and the rest of us could wait till it comes around.

I have to echo everyone's enthusiasm. Seeing as it was my first such event, I had no idea what to expect. It was far above any of my expectations. I had never been to Games Plus, but I can tell you for sure I'll be back.

Thanks Bad Axe and Kenzer for the generous donations. Thanks to a hot d20, I was able to walk away with some quality products. I just got through the Dwarves book too. As a player 90% of the time, it was EXACTLY what I was looking for in a supplement. I can't wait for the other race books to come out.

Finally thanks to Mark for taking the pains to organize these gamedays. It was amazingly fun. (And you can keep your evil d6s loaded to eternally roll 1s!) I can't wait for the next one!
