Chicago Gameday Planning Thread

Looks to be shaping up to be a good crew, even with some regulars not being able to make it. I can't wait to start planning what to play there! :)

As long as this is the planning thread, anyone have any suggestions or changes for how the Gameday is planned and run?

I'll definitely be doing the usual style of scheduling, since what we attempted last time seemed to cause more confusion than good.

Thanks,
Matt

Definately go with the old style of scheduling. I'm not sure when stuff is starting for signups and whatnot...but I might not have 'net access for a while coming up rather soon, so while i'm thinking about it...

I'll be running CMGs marvelous Whispering Woodwind, in either the morning or afternoon, whichever session needs more DMs.

Matty:
You can't exclude Liv from your CoC campaign just because I started running my own game -- where will the party get it's inexhaustible willpower and determination ;)?!?

As for an after party...what happened last time? I was counting on sharing a few brews with everyone once the gaming was done, but nothing materialized.

Too bad JD won't be able to attend if the date holds. This will be the second lost chance to carpool to Chicago and talk RPGs for 4+ hours.
I know, I was really looking forward to it having to have missed the last one! However, as I'm sure you understand, my wife's 30th trumps gameday. With any luck, the Detroit/Windsor gameday will come together, at least.

Trevalon - definitely the old style of scheduling. And I'm glad the Gameday fits into your Summer of Freedom.

Quickbeam - It's nothing personal, I'm just not sure if I'm going to run Cthulhu at this Gameday. If I do, it would be conditional on the return of Liz and DUDE!!!!!

JD - Nothing puts a 30th birthday into perspective more than your husband leaving town to play games :)

Home wrecker! :D

I hope Trev doesn't mind running Whispering Woodwind in the first slot so he can be a player in my second slot D&D game... :)

And what if I do mind? HMMMM? What do you have to say to that, Mr. Clover!!!???

:D

Consider me signed up as a slot one DM, slot two player! :)

Trev, I got marks back, so you had better speak a little more respectable to our friend Mark. I would hate to have to make a special visit after one of your performances.
