BTW, this targeting rule seems to screw over the sane interpretation as well:
This doesn't explicitly preclude you from choosing targets after the spell is cast, but it can be taken to imply that targets must be chosen when the spell is cast.SRD said:You must be able to see or touch the target, and you must specifically choose that target.
