Chilli Powder in the face!

ReeboKesh

First Post
My players come up with crazy ideas, usually I have to make a quick ruling and then worry about it later. Usually my quick rulings are not perfect and more often than not, they benefit the players a little too well.

Anyhoo this weekend one of my player's characters bought a sack of chilli powder and used it in combat to hurl into opponents faces. So I was hoping someone on the messageboards with mad rules creating skillz could write up some rules for a Chilli Powder attack, maybe even a Pepper attack since both spices would have different effects.

Thanks in advance

There's a new Combat Maneuver called Dirty Trick in the Advanced Player's Guide, this would probably cover the chili powder thing. The rule uses an example of kicking sand into an opponent's face to blind him for 1 round, or pulling down his pants to halve his speed, or hitting a foe in a sensitive spot to make him sickened for 1 round. The rule is limited to inflicting the following conditions: blinded, dazzled, deafened, entangled, shaken, or sickened; it's up to the GM exactly what's possible with Dirty Trick, but essentially just have your player describe what he's doing then make a Combat Maneuver check against the target's CMD and determine what the effect would be based on that.
