Chosen Way Classless system

So I loved PF and how much you could customize but I love how easy it is to get people into 5E. I've honestly never liked the idea of classes. This is my attempt to work a classless system into 5E and use it conjunction with standard rules, CR chats, etc.

Chosen Way is a classless rule system that does away with set classes and races in favor of a point buy system. Skills and abilities are purchased and upgraded by players as they level. Racial trait selections have been added in place of static racial choices.

I am looking for feedback and thoughts on the system.

Everything can be downloaded for free on DMSguild.com

There are also hard copies of the skill cards but this system is still young and many more changes will be coming. I mainly made them because I wanted them and they have been fun for making and leveling characters.

Rules only that don't require download.

[h=3]Skills and abilities[/h]Skills and abilities are broken into four power levels Minor, Major, Elite, and Legendary. You gain Skill Points (SP) as you level to purchase skills and abilities. Minor abilities cost 1SP, Major cost 2SP, Elite cost 3SP, and Legendary cost 4SP.
[h=3]Ability Points[/h]Some skills are powered by ability points (AP). The AP you have to power those skills is equal to a characters level. The AP you have to power skills is equal to your character level.
[h=3]proficiency[/h]There is no proficiency bonus. Players begin with a 1d4 proficiency die (PD) to roll whenever making an ability check, roll a save, or make an attack they are proficient in.
A player can gain mastery and add a second PD to specific skills, abilities, saves, or attacks.
Abilities amd spells that have a save DC will use ½ of your PD in the calculation.

[h=3]backgrounds[/h]Players should created backgrounds allign with their chosen abilities, racial traits, and skills. Players should still have traits, ideals, bonds, and flaws.

[h=3]Magic[/h]Players choose Wisdom, Intelligence, or Charisma to be their spell casting ability. Spells are powered by mana and cost a number of mana equal to the level at which they are cast.
Mana is equal to a charachters spell casting ability modifier times their spell casting level.

[h=3]Skills & Saves[/h]At first level you choose two saves and two skills you are proficient in.
[h=3]Weapons, Armor, & Hit Dice[/h]All characters start with simple weapon proficiency, no armor proficiency, and a D6 hit die.
A character can spend one or more Hit Dice at the end of a short rest, up to the character’s maximum number of Hit Dice. The player can decide to spend an additional Hit Die after each roll. A character can gain one the following benifits from each expended hit die.
Gain 1AP
Roll = Mana gained
Roll + Constitution modifier = Hit points gained
[h=3]Point Buy[/h]You have 12 SP to spend at first level. Every even level you gain 2 SP and at odd levels you gain 3 SP. At level 10 & 20 you gain 5 SP. Except for minor skills and abilities, you can not upgrade or add features to a skill at the same it is gained or upgrade a skill more than once each time you level.
You cannot gain Legendary abilities at first level.
When starting above first level you must spend your SP as if you were leveling from first to your actual level.

man I'm terrible at forum formatting.
