Doesn't change the creature type, and doesn't alter favored class. Most of the time Fighter or Paladin are the best classes, though I can see Barbarian coming in, too.

Kendra might have been LG, but Buffy probably isn't (figure her as NG), and Faith certainly isn't (or, at the very least, wasn't always, and retained her powers). So paladin is right out.

Faith: rogue -> paladin -> blackguard -> paladin again or fighter

Given we're not talking about D&D in general, but rather the more-alignment-nebulous Eberron, I think that slayer-as-paladin works pretty well. Buffy may re-write the Slayer handbook now and again, but I still think LG fits her pretty well. She's steadfast in her duty to family, friends, and slayerhood, and she fights for good. Works for me.

Lorne isn't a Tiefling. Lorne is a demon. However, he's a demon who's decided to not be so very demonic.

I just started watching Angel/Buffy but it was my impression that demon does not equal bad, like people. Demon is a race like drow in Buffyverse, am I wrong?

From their standpoint, demons are no more evil than anyone else. It's not the demons' fault that humans are so tasty and respond in such amusing fashions when tortured. It's not the demons' fault that humans are so easily turned into slaves. It's not the demons' fault that human blood, brains, organs, deaths make for such useful ritual components. Nope. The demons are merely harvesting a useful resource. If anything, it's the humans who are evil for opposing the natural principles of might makes right and the strong absolutely ruling the weak.

Well, seeing as alignment is all relative in Eberron, it'd be no problem to have good demons like Lorne. What demon types are playable PC races, though?

And to bring us back on track a bit...

What kinds of adventures could the Company of Angel's Investigators have in Eberron? In the Angelverse, demons are the big menace... but what about in Khorvaire? Abberations? Who are the Powers That Be? The Sovereign Host? What's the Eberron equivalent of Wolfram & Hart?
