"I don't know enough about magical charms to be sure, but it sounds like a definate possibility that he was affected by one of these. I understand they can compel a man to do almost anything. Still, that doesn't explain the bruises. Maybe Dig, or this merchant, will be able to tell us more. Assuming we get there in time."

As Tori, Lark, and Leyton run towards the merchant's place they wonder what will be left to question. They continue running.

OOC: At anytime you may place yourselves there you should be there in about 2 minutes after her arives.

~~~~
Pyrelius storms onto the merchant's estate. As he arrives he notices two fully armed officers, wearing leather armor with swrods at thier sides, guarding the door. The door is closed and there is not trace of Dig. Not that you are looking around much.
OOC: They are right on your heels so have at it.
Unencumbered and with his monks training, Tori heads off quickly to catch Pyrelius with the hope of stopping any unecessary bloodshed. Convinced that the merchant is innocent, but perhaps able to offer unseful information, he hopes that the merchant may not be opposed to helping them.
Pyrelius is completely determined that this is the correct course of action. Jango screams a battle song into his brain, further strengthening his resolve.
With that, Pyrelius storms up to the open door. He glares at the guards "Town Watch. Step aside". Without waiting for an answer, he applies his foot to the door to open it with just the right amount of finesse.
If the door fails to open, Pyrelius will become enraged.
Attempting to intimidate guards. Int +11
Kicking open door, Strength +6. If door fails to open, will rage at the door and try again.
With new rage strength and destructive rage. Str will be +16.
Pyrelius not hearing the guards telling him not to he gives the door a good kick.
The door takes the kick keeping its closed position. Pyrelius lets out a might roar that can be heard even in the distant hills. He backs up 2 steps and runs at the door hitting it with another kick. With this kick Pyrelius is able to fell the door and begins to walk inside the home.
“Sir you can’t go in there!” comes one of the guards. Pyrelius shoots him a glance that could freeze his blood. The man’s legs begin to shake as his eyes and jaw drop open.
Pyrelius steps inside the house over the door that he has nearly broken. [sblock= Pyrelius] Inside you find a man with a grim face and black clothes on sitting on a stool near his table. In the chair next to him is a large metal contraption the likes of which you have never seen before. It must be the Wergorged they were talking about.
Ooc: do as you will[/sblock]
In 2 rounds Tori you are within sight of the manner and it will take you 2 rounds to reach the manner from there.
In 4 rounds Lark, Yulge, and Leyton will be within sight of the manner and it will take you 4 rounds to reach the manner from there.
OOC: Round 1 down! 3 more till Tori arrives 7 till Lark, Yulge, and Leyton arrive
[sblock=Door Break 1] 2+6=8 vs DC 18 Failed [/sblock][sblock=Door Break 2] 19+16=35 vs DC 18 Success![/sblock][sblock=Demoralize] Guard 2+ lvl 6 +1 wis = 9 vs Pyrelius 2+11 skill=13 Success![/sblock]
Tori sprints towards the door hoping to stop any unnecessary bloodshed. If Pyrelius is attacking he tries and pull him back and restrain him as best he can.
If the guards are attacking, and Pyrelius is defending himself against them, he attemptes instead to restrain one of the guards.
ooc: Grapple modifier +15
Leyton, hearing a crash in the distance picks up his pace.
OOC: [sblock]I seem to have misplaced my stats somewhere...anyone have any ideas?[/sblock]
Pyrelius can feel the strength of his ancestors flowing through his body. Jango shouts that he should question the machine while Pyrelius can question the noble.
Pyrelius charges the machine "Jango has words for you machine!"
As Jango begins his interrogation, Pyrelius stares at the noble and shouts "Why did you kill the baron?"
Charging dig.
I think charge is +2 attack.
So +18 to hit
Damage is (1d10 + 2d6 + 12 20 x3) 1d6 self
Attempting to demoralize the noble as well
I forgot the name of the guy who we're investigating, assume I said it.
