Ogrin walks into the bar. His friends greet him, shouting "Ogrin is back!" making his introduction superflous. "That's Captain Ogrin to you, landlubber!" he says, grinning.

"Seriously speaking, should you ever need ship transport somewhere on the coast or up one of the navigable rivers, come see me; I'm sure we can work out a fair price for some fellow adventurers!

Now, I'm a bit weary after my travels, so I'll be over here in the corner, sipping some of Joe's finest. Come see me if you need me."

OOC: I'll be travelling for a few weeks and will not have full internet access - thus his withdrawal into the corner as I'll not be able to roleplay much.

As a side issue, Ogrin would be happy to transport people to some distant city even if he's not part of the rest of the adventure - at the moment he's about 50 XP short of a level and would not mind a short vignette of that kind.

Following shortly on the heals of Ogrin, a short, lean elf enters. He is wearing long dark blue/black robes with a spherical design in light blue on his chest. The elf is carrying a heavy backpack and quarterstaff with ease. Light dances up and down the upper end of the staff in small flickering flames.

"Sir Tenebrynn Glimmersight." he says as he enters, mindful of Joe's rules. "Rinaldo, Hogarth, Ogrin, Eanos I see you beat me back."

"Nice to see you Tenebrynn. Have you done a good trip? And how is Ashnar? I think you had some project together. Come to join us, we are relaxing a bit. Let me present you Quarion and Daeualas" showing two new faces that are sitting at the table.

Eanos, human monk

Eanos shrugs as he smiles a greeting to the wizard.

"I continue to work on my speed as part of my training," then he points to the quarterstaff, saying, "Though I expect your delay has something to do with that flash of flame I caught before? I assume your quarterstaff is now more than it once was?"

"Yes it was a good trip. Razh and I travelled together after Ashnar and I set up our library. We're setting up a library and lab in a tower that Monemvassia has granted us as part of our knighthoods. Pleased to met you Quarion and Daeualas." replies Tenebrynn.

Eanos shrugs as he smiles a greeting to the wizard.

"I continue to work on my speed as part of my training," then he points to the quarterstaff, saying, "Though I expect your delay has something to do with that flash of flame I caught before? I assume your quarterstaff is now more than it once was?"

"Yes, I've spent some time enchanting my staff after I finished Razh's armor and weapon. I traded in my anchor, despite its amazing effectiveness against those Sahuagin. I think the flame will be more universally effective, besides you know I've always preferred my staff." he replies.

 

[Velmont]

"Yes, you are quite a warrior with that staff in hand, and I think the amiral who bought the pick will be happy to have such a weapon with him, and he won't regret it at the price he paid it... anyway, you wouldn't have made more money by reselling it to another merchant. I reduce my cut for my friends." tells Rinaldo.

Quarion Holimion, Elven Druid

Quarion stands up to welcome the newcomers. "Yes, I am Quarion. I hail from the forests of Vastermarch. 'Tis a pleasure to make your acquaintances." He bows ever-so-slightly, then he sits back down.

"Yes, you are quite a warrior with that staff in hand, and I think the amiral who bought the pick will be happy to have such a weapon with him, and he won't regret it at the price he paid it... anyway, you wouldn't have made more money by reselling it to another merchant. I reduce my cut for my friends." tells Rinaldo.

"Definitely the best deal I've seen. If you guys need to buy or sell any magical gear, Rinaldo here will set you up. His wife minds their store right here in Orussus. That reminds me Rinaldo I think she is catching on that you are not going on just trade missions any more." replies Tenebrynn.

 

[Velmont]

A big smiles is drawn on the merchant face. "Do you remember just before we met Vossinger here, in the RDI, for the first time, just before we learn about the amiral's death. I had many contusion and a black eye. You havn't guess who did that and why? Or maybe you didn't saw, I used my hat of disguise to hid most of them. I must thanks the Road Warden, the one who sent us on that bandit camp near here. I met him with my wife a week after that, the day before we met here and met Vossinger. We were doing our market with the kids when the Road Warden start to talk about the bandits and how our group had been so great about that mission. I never got a chance to make him shut his mouth. My wife didn't react at all. I was suspicious. It wasn't her.

When we came back to our house, she stayed calm and when teh night came, she put teh kids to bed and we climb down teh sstair to the shop. You know what? I think I will take against Causticus AND Frump again if it can prevent me to see that again. She was in such state that she throw at me all she had under hand. She has such a good aim that if I had stayed one more minutes, it is at the temple of Hyrag I would have ended, but I decide to leave quickly. She shouts after me to come back when I would stop to think to myself and my gold... I spent teh night here, thanks to Joe..." Rinaldo raise is glass of wine at the barkeeper, who simply nods at the merchant "... and the day after, I was on the road of Monemvassia again with you, Eanos and the others.

When we came back here to recruit Ogrin and Razh, I spoke with her, during a whole day. I explained my point of view. She doesn't totally agree, but she makes me promised to come back home at all cost. I have my kids, and I want ot be here at least once every few month, and pass some times with them, but at teh same times, the roads have been my home for so much time that I just cannot stay long in one place. Maybe one day, I will settle, but until then, I promised myself one thing. Wathever that will lead me on the roads again, it will be to make this world a better world for my kids. And between those adventures, I run my business to raise enough money for my kids. Salvador want to become a wizard, just like her aunt Opale. but such studies isn't at teh hand of anyone. Tenebrynn, if you want an apprentice in a few years, I think my son could do a fine one."
