[SBLOCK=Rinaldo]Rinaldo has not seen this item, and it didn't come into his people's hands. If he cares to search his contacts, he can determine the following [SBLOCK=Gather Info DC 15]Dalarin Thistle, a fellow merchant and dealer in exotic and arcane goods, had a similar item traded to him, sent in from Medibaria. Rinaldo takes e moemnt to think about the question of Vanitri. "No, it doesn't remind me of anything, but if you want, I can see with my contacts. If someone have tarde it in Orussus, most likely I will be able to learn something out of it, unless that eprson want to keep the sceret." answers Rinaldo

"That soon?" Rinaldo seems to get lost in his thought for a moment. "It's true I was starting to travel with my father since I was... five I think. No, it was four, when I left for the first time the islands to come here, in Orussus. Orussus was pretty impressive when all you have know is a small country establish on some islands."

"Oh yes, it is important to start early as an apprentice wizard. It takes many years of hard study to master the arcane arts." replies Tenebrynn.

Tenebrynn greets Vanitri as he is introduced around the table. "Pleasure to meet you Vanitri. I, like Rinaldo and Eanos have just come from Monemvassia. I have not had word from Medibaria at all. Though I am very curious about this Chromatic Order that I've heard speak of round these parts."

"So you're one of those rustic wizards who didn't learn from the Academy and scraped the knowledge together somewhere else?" Laynie asks Tenebrynn, interested, "That sounds like living on the edge! Myself, when I get old enough, I'm going to be a Wizard too someday, just like Mommy was."

"No not rustic, I learned right here in Orussus at the Library. There are not many apprentices there, but a few like myself learn there." replies Tenebrynn.

"It certaintly is an... interesting place. Certaintly a good place to study magic though. I even learned a bit." Vanitri chuckles.

"Well, I'd say it's sort of rustic metaphysically if not literally," the eight-or-nine-year-old girl ponders, "Without colleagues and instructors of varying disciplines and levels of skill, you had to forge into the wilderness with your fellows like explorers or something."

"While I have done my best to amass a collection of spells on my own, I'd have to admit that having the resources of an academy would be intriguing. My friend Ashnar and I have started our own library in Monemvassia, much like the one here."

"Oh, a start-up! You two look like bright wizards. Maybe if Vanitri invests in some shares of the library with some money down now to help you start, it will pay dividends some day," Laynie suggests, "But I have to say, there are few things that fill me with more pure glee than swimming through the rows upon rows of wonderful books at the Academy!"
