"I might just take you up on that in a few years, Rinaldo. I don't think I'm ready to give up my adventuring career yet."

"Do you know at which age it is best to start the training. He barely turned 5, less than a week ago, so I doubt he is old enough to start such training. I think you've time to adventure before he is ready." tells Rinaldo

"If he really is serious about becoming a wizard, starting early would be best. Perhaps in a year or two. Enrolling in a grammar school early will help as well. Reading is key to studying magic. I believe that the library might be able to help in that respect, they certainly helped me out when I was that young." answers Tenebrynn.

"That soon?" Rinaldo seems to get lost in his thought for a moment. "It's true I was starting to travel with my father since I was... five I think. No, it was four, when I left for the first time the islands to come here, in Orussus. Orussus was pretty impressive when all you have know is a small country establish on some islands."

If it weren’t for his trimmed goatee, the man walking into the tavern could easily be confused for a slightly bulky elf. His long flowing black hair drapes down to his shoulders. His long face is drawn and sharp, having a nearly elven quality to it. His clothes are worn, but well cared for. A warm smile and soft gaze meet anyone who looks at him. Accompanying him is a small child, perhaps not quite 10 yet, whom he seems to be finishing up a conversation with.

"See, Laynie, I told you the 'folk weren't that bad," he says. He looks up to the crowd, "I'm Vanitri, and this is Laynie."

He points to a table and says to Laynie, "Grab a seat over there will ya? I'll get something for us to drink."

Vanitri steps up to the bar, "Joe, an ale for me, and some apple juice for the little lady."

Joe nods, and quickly dishes up the glasses. Vanitri takes them back to the table, and sets the glass of juice in front of her. Finaly he sits down, and turns to face the others in the tavern. "Ho there fellow travelers. Care to share a tale of the road? Heard any interesting news of late? 'Fraid I've not been 'round these parts lately."

OOC: RA will be playing the part of Laynie

One of the man around the table, wearing a silvery chain shirt and drinking some wine nods at Vanitri. "Join us... we took a large table just to be able to speak with people. I am Rinaldo di Senzio, magical item trader. I present you Tenebrynn Glimmersight, Eanos, Ogrin, Hogarth Vradlik, Quarion and Daeualas."

The man sitting next to Rinaldo, who has been presented as Hogarth Vradlik, wears a full platemail with a fine engravement, showing a dragon head on it. "Happy... to... meet you" he tells, obviously searchiong his words.

"For the news, I must tell I was in Monemvassia for the last few months. I know there is a tournament running here presently, if you want to have more detail, I am the main sponsor of that event. Except that, not much."

"Nah, I'll pass on a tournoment. I just got back from Medibaria and the Academy of the Cromatic Order." Vanitri pauses for a moment, "Well, we took the long way back. Odd place, a little too torn up over high blood and outsiders though," he chuckles with a knowing smile.

Dae can be seen listening intently to the tales of the new arrival. The look on his face is one of combined interest and admiration.

Rystil Arden said:
"Well, I'll admit they aren't evil--they're nice people. Still, they're a bit naive, you know?"
Vanitri chuckles, "Perhaps little one."

"Ho there in the corner," He says, addressing Dae, "Surely you've got a story to tell, or at least a name."

"Oh, and Rinaldo, you wouldn't have happened accros an Opal Rod in your magic item trade per chance? It was about as long as a wand, rather thick, with tapering edges on both sides."
