"Well priest, as you cannot even correctly pronounce my name, i highly doubt you have the inteligence to play any game requiring skill.".

A wide grin emerges on Valans face. Leaving his cards to the barbarian Please excuse me for a moment, Kermis. Spinning to face the elf. Please excuse my common ears, they drive my common tongue, Throran, and perhaps they misunderstood the situation, but, but! I do believe you have set forth a comment like a challange, and I feel it should be addressed.
Valan pauses a half of heartbeat for tensions sake. A game, you may choose it, something which you consider yourself skilled. Perhaps I won't be skilled enough to win but there is not a game out there that couldn't be won with alittle luck.
So, what say you? A game?

valan...you want kermis squish elf?" the barbarian whispers quietly. then not seeing an answer forthcoming says "Kermis play one gold with valan." and throws a gold on the floor. waiting for valan to draw the first card as usual.

Half turning over toward Kermis No thankyou Valan says quietly. Fishing a gold outta his pocket he tosses it to the ground before Kermis. Keeping his eye on the newcomer all the while.

"Luck is a poor substitution for true skill. I believe though that you are currently engaged with your large.... friend... and i have a bath wating. Perhaps another time." Throran will comment as he makes his way to the wating bath

Valan laughs Fine, I will be here when you are ready. Waiting. Turning back to Kermis And thats what you call a big mouth unwilling to back itself up.
Though Valan indeed has a game allready in motion and flips a new card and frowns Seems I have no manner of luck when it comes down to the line. 2 of Spades. Go ahead.

seeing valan stand up to face the elf. kermis reaches out and grasps a hold of his greataxe. thinking there may be need of it. slolwy realizing the man is just arguing and not fighting he sets it back down and grunts loudly.

as valan returns he states "VALAN NO WORRY, VALAN STRONG FIGHTER. STRONGER THAN ELF." and pats valan heartily on the shoulder.almost painfully
Kermis reaches for the cards and pulls out the 5 of spades. looking at it for a long moment, then back at valans card, then back at his for few moments. he states "Kermis win?...KERMIS WIN!" he states half questioningly half confident but very excited nontheless.

Waving his arms triumphantly for several moments, kermis smiles and hoots loudy drawing several odd looks and some smiles from the bar maids. grabbing up the two gold coins from the floor he holds one in each hand taking time to admire both of them. "KERMIS LIKE THIS GAME." he exclaims"GAME FUN VALAN. WHAT GAME CALLED?"

Draw or High card sounding abit pained by his loss, yet he still pulls anouther coin out of his pocket Play again? he asks as he flipps it, the coin landing between the two players.

"KERMIS LIKE DROW HI CARD. KERMIS PLAY AGAIN..." the barbarian nods in approval, misunderstanding valan. and tosses forth another gold coin. and waits again for valan to go first as customary.

ooc- i suppose this will go on as long as necessary until something else happens...lol

soon there will be a naked broke fighter or barbarian sitting in the inn.
