*Laynie keeps crying until eventually there are no tears left to her, at which point she remains, staring with sad eyes as her jaw trembles.*
*Suddenly, the door opens and an old man walks inside slowly and staggers over to the dwarf*
"Dagummit...it is great to see you back so soon--is it possible that you have found the cure for Alyx already?"
"Nay, ba I simply had ta turn back, fer personal reasons...I hope tha team has enough manpower left ta handle themselves, ba from wha I've seen, even mighty Somac looks like 'e might leave soon, and I dinnae think they can manage it alone."
"Well, you know that I am willing to give any and all of my remaining 20,000 gold to the cause if only it will help find a cure for my poor Alyx. Do you know of anyone else who could help?"
"Na really--Ah'm tired now, and ah'm sorry but I jes want ta go home and rest for now...Maybe some day I will return...In any rate, they are down in a town called Briarton right now if it helps."
"Oh dear...I'd hate to think of what will happen to Alyx if they fail...thanks for that at least, my friend. Go in peace..."
