"Oh, you have a Doggie too?" Laynie asks after seeing Mearran with her dog, wiping away a stream of tears from her eyes as they head to the door.

*Meanwhile, the old man, Zarindas, tips his hat towards Mearran:*

"You have a kind heart for children in need, sir...When you return to the inn, I would be honoured if you joined me and my dwarf friend here--I'm sorry, what is your name sir?" he turns to Thurgan as he asks the last question.

"I'll consider it." then turning back to Laynie "Nah, Dog just follows me around" smiles at his joke attempt

"My thanks, that is all I ask." Zarindas replies.

"Really? Is that because you're a kitty cat?" Laynie laughs slightly.

"Really? Is that because you're a kitty cat?" Laynie laughs slightly.

Mearran also laughs "Maybe, I think it might just be because I'm, good with animals. I've spent alot of time out in the wilderness, I hear you have too."

"Well yes, that's true. Lots and lots of time."

Thurgan Hammer, Dwarven Crafter

Thurgan watched the exchange with Mearran and Laynie, happy that the furball had improved her mood . . . something that Thurgan couldn't have done. He nodded to Mearran in appreciation, as Mearran made ready to take Laynie to EV's

OOC: Rules Question [sblock]The rules for crafting seem to have been put in place while I've been gone. Any idea who I would talk to about getting my crafting done during my time between my adventure in Stonepike and now. Kind of ironic, really, I was the one working on the crafting (the whole idea of the character) when we started.

"Thurgan . . . Thurgan Hammer," Thurgan replied, still lost in thought about the child. Looking to Dagummit, Thurgan asked, "What's a reason ya got the kid, again, brother?"

"I wanned ta leave, and they wanned ta bring her somewhere or sumin' ," Dagummit responds, somewhat drowsy from all the ale and close to falling asleep now.

Mearran smiles to Thurgan on his way out "Hmm, we could go along that vein... How would you like to learn more about nature..."

"That sounds like fun, I guess..." Laynie ponders.
