"Are you sure? I understand it involves eating spiders and carrying around bat poop. That doesn't sound like very much fun to me."
Michael looks at Laynie in some astonishment, surprised that such a nice little girl wants to eat spiders and carry around bat poop.

"Well Mommy never did that. Maybe I'll just have to rescue come-ponies or something."

"Umm...If you could help me, but don't hurt me, okay?"

Mearran remains quiet, hoping she will learn to trust more on her own.

While Laynie and the others talk, Mearran Moves toward where he left Triton. Stopping and whistling before he would be out of sight of the girl. As many times before, the large dog lumbers around the corners into the bar area.

(OOC: Well, I do plan on continuing the 'Find Somewhere for Laynie' in IA: Mearran and Laynie or somewhere else as appropriate, and I even consider it a part of Immortality Awakens, so there could be XP involved and stuff, although not for Mearran until Mearran gets the official OK )

I never really thought about getting XP for any of this, I was just having fun with the role playing, I'll finish him up this morning[/sblock]

(OOC: Roleplaying is definitely fun, but I'd also like to give XP and credit where XP is due, and this is certainly a roleplaying challenge )

"Even then, I think you have to study a lot to learn magic. You have to read big heavy books until you get old and crabby, or at least until you get to be a mommy. That's a very long time.
And it's no fun at all. You're not allowed to have any fun, I'm pretty sure."

"Umm...If you could help me, but don't hurt me, okay?"

Michael bends slightly and laces his fingers together, forming a step. If she was so minded, Laynie could take that step, hold his shoulder, and swing neatly into the chair.

(OOC: So true, so true, and it is nice getting XP with out having to kill something, or have my characters life threatened in any way, lol)

*Laynie carefully climbs up on Michael's step to get up onto the big chair.*

"Mister Kitty Cat said a mentaur can teach me how to use magic and then I can do magical things, like flying."

"I'm sure with some training you can. You seem like a bright little girl, I'm sure there's someone out there that can show you magic," Vanitri says.
