Somewhat bemused, she speaks with Taelythenihel in Elven, aware that many of the others around would hear and understand their conversation. Her tone is clearly questioning, even to outsiders.
"My apologies, Eleria Moonsilver," says Taelythenihel. "I spoke my inward thought aloud without censor. Sing what you will, and I will listen with pleasure. It is said, is it not, that even those who do not speak our tongue will perceive their meaning if sung by an elven bard of skill. Perhaps, then, it would be best if you were not to sing a song as sad as mine in a voice so much more sweet, lest the listeners end weeping in their cups."

Taelythenihel listens gravely to Quozen's intervention, and raises one eyebrow. "Contempt? Do you think so? I should hope not, but I shall examine my heart for this flaw."

Suddenly the door of the inn is thrown open and a young man dashes in.

He looks wildly around the room, his eyes darting from one group of adventurers to another, then gasps, “Help! You must come. They’re just down the road. Quickly - before it’s too late!”

Then, without even waiting to see if anyone is following, he rushes to the door and disappears outside.
Already outside the inn on the street, Valdaris draws his sword and quickly sets off in pursuit.

Seeing Ruud leave her side, Taelythenihel falters in her apologies, and looks about. She glances upstairs. "A fine time to leave Ossa alone," she snaps to herself, and joins the general exodus.

Eleria listents to the interchange between Taelythenihel and Quozen and is about to lift her instrument again to play another song when the interruption occurs. Instead, sits quietly stunned as the group of people rush from the tavern. Whatever had caused the commotion was sure attracting a large amount of interest from the adventurers within and the young bard was not sure that a rabble was something she wanted to be involved in.

She takes another small sip of her drink and looks at Quozen, Ciprinus and Saithnar in turn, “That man appears to be in need of some aid... are you staying, or will you join them?”

-Of course we are going out! I'm bored to death here! Come on Carpio, some fun at last!- says the druid and follows the others outside the tavern. Realizing that what he just said may be hear as an offense, he turns, and adds -Not that you are bore at all my lady- with a short bow, the druid leaves the building.

Now, Payne wasn't one that would jump up and run out to save the lives of others. Usually that was the case anyway. But today? She was just that bored out of her skull to see what the hub-bub was all about. First things first.. she finished her drink, composed herself, then climbed down off her high horse and headed for the door. No doubt Lokin and Kol would follow along.

Kol quickly followed his ally out of the door.

"I say man, watch where you are going! Umph! Look out I say!" grumbles a man struggling to enter through the door of the Red Dragon Inn as several others rush out in a hurry. He finds a break in the tide of runners-by to enter and stand regally upon the inner step. The man has dark hair oiled and combed back into place on his head. A pinched looking face surveys the crowded inn with an upraised eyebrow over the monocle which covers his left eye. He removes the monocle to get a better look at the inhabitants while a second man steps around him and gently dusts off the first man's expensive jacket. The newcomer is bald and attired in a rich servants uniform.

The shorter servant turns to address the Inn's occupants, "Greetings. I am Thaddeus, humble servant of Sir Lucias Darque." He indicates the man behind him with a wave of his hand and a half bow. "Master Darque has come to hire a group of ... you sorts... to perform a job on his behalf. The employment may well require a multitude of talents, so a well balanced group shall be the primary focus. Due to this, my master reserves the right to pick and choose the best from all applicants for the job and will not fill positions on a first come/first served basis. If any interested applicants would kindly step forward and list their names and...skill sets...for consideration, then the master shall proceed to choose those he deems capable of fulfilling his needs."

OOC: Recruiting for a 4 person team of 1st level characters. As balanced as possible for the party. If really needed balance wise, I MIGHT be able to squeeze in a 5th character. No promises though.
