Droggle watches the game with some interest himself, though gambling was not a vice he had. It was too random for him, and he like most dwarves craved order. But it was entertaining to watch the humans and other folks get so worked up over a game.

he heard the comment about electricity in the air and gave a nod to the players at the game. If some chance at adventure didn't come soon, he would have to take his pick and head out to the hills to prospect for a while. Such a venture could be quite lucrative, but these days he would rather have his pick dig into flesh than rock.

but only the flesh of those that deserved it of course.

Jace looks up from his flask as Jinx sits at the table, "you'll likely lose your gold."
The former sailor looks over his shoulder, and shrugs - a bit awkwardly, at that. "I might win, I might lose. But it's as big a fool who thinks he'll lose all, as the one who thinks the dice will roll all sixes for him, aye?" After that, he grins. "I wasn't about to bet all my life savings, either."

Jace replies, "I didn't mean to suggest that you would lose all of your money. I meant that it would be more likely that another player would roll a win before you. Any other player rolling a win means you lose, but you have to roll a win yourself to keep the pot." Jace puts the flask back in his pack and watches the game.

ooc- is there any judges who could perhaps dm a few of us going out on our own to adventure? I mean, I'm not against the idea of stealing a few horses and and then robbing a carraige or 9

ooc--or...we could offer to protect said carriages form the evils that prowl the roads in this untamed land...for money.

...or you could split up, and each take one of the two jobs.

It doesn't need to be a judge -- anybody can submit an adventure proposal they'd like to DM.
