A large muscular man enters the Inn. The breadth of his shoulders and depth of his chest portray a sense of physical power. However there is no grace in his step. Indeed he is a blunt intrument, use to meeting obstacles head-on. By the broad smile on his face, he has been successful thus far. At first glance he appears to be a human, but upon
closer inspection the luster of his skin and the deep, rich color of his eyes betray his origins as something…else.
In a booming voice he addresses the room.
"Kol Axbjorn! Fresh from a successful sojourn into the Hase-Suna Complex. I seek to slake my thirst for drink, women and adventure. Preferably in that order!"

Richard looks from one stern female to the other, listening to the exchange. Raising an eyebrow at Rowan, he leans on the bar when Rinya settles back. Quietly, but not a whisper, Richard continues the raised eyebrow on to his half-Elven companion... "So... what the heck is that all about?"
As smooth as ever*, the young warrior stands and waits, drinking his Stout and considering the early lunch menu.

"Stupid parlour tricks, nothing more," Rinya grumbles. Then seeing Kol enter, "I remember him. I see they made it back alive. Or he did, at least."

"A stupid parlour test, which did not work," says Taelythenihel. "People are curious about mysterious hooded strangers. I wished to spare Ossa that unwanted attention." She pats her servant's arm. "Sorry, dear."

Leaning in to pick up another stout, Richard speaks in a whisper to Rinya. [sblock=Rinya, Rowan Listen DC 10, else Listen DC 25]"Yeah, I ran into most of them in a shop, they were about to fight each-other over loot. The watch was there and I think they broke it up..."[/sblock]
Picking up his refreshed drink, he raises it in Kol's direction, though his earlier encounter keeps him from expecting much response from the gruff fighter at the door.

Taelythenihel calls out across the room: "Ethethurirl terunt, wux levethix? Arituor mrith wux ukris, sjek bensvelk. Arominak Taelythenihel."
[sblock=Draconic]"My friend gnome, are you a wizard? It is my desire to talk with you, if it pleases you. My name is Taelythenihel."[/sblock]

Ruud's eye's rise in surprise for a moment, before nodding an apology to Nirassa, "Pardon me, please, for a moment."

He then heads over to Taelythenihel and gives a short bow of introduction, "Acckto Ruud von Nistelrooy. Arcanadana dim donberdon. Cricticita randa rada simpaxton?"

[sblock=Draconic]"I am Ruud von Nistelrooy. I have been trained in arcane studies. How may I be of service?"[/sblock]

"Mrith Ruud irthos ghoros ir levexbaeshra?" says Taelythenihel, continuing in Draconic, "You, Ruud, are familiar with the secret of calling a familiar? Have you ever heard of the ritual going awry, and calling something other than the desired creature?"

Upon seeing Richard raise his glass he approached the man. "Good to see you...Richard was it." He grasps the man's arm in a freindly greeting. After ordering a drink he took on a more quiet tone.
"Why in hellfire is everyone babbling in Lizard Man??" he asked in a whisper.
