Class Help

Okay so let me start off by saying that I usually play as a babarian. But anyway I have a few questions about the different things I can multi class into.
First question being what's the best class to choose to help me kill stuff faster?
Secondly is their a class that will help me be more like an animal, and what i mean is hear stuff farther, run faster and be a natury death tank lol.

As noted in my Emmy-nominated guide Being Bane: A Guide to Cracking Small Men, Fighter, Ranger, Totemist, and Warblade levels can help a barbarian.

Also, check the prestige class and example build sections for barbarians that can turn into animals.

Not which edition- though that matters- which books? PHB only? Core + Completes? Anything except Psi? 3PP stuff?

Just PHB, or all of the core 3 books? The Monster Manual has other humanoid races and racial variants that can be used. Notably for you, Wood Elf has +2 str and dex, -2 int and con and the Orc (instead of the crappier half-orc) has +4 str, -2 all mental scores, and a semi-annoying light sensitivity.

If you can't do either, Half-Orc really sucks and isn't worth it just to get +2 str. Make a Dwarf and enjoy your dozen or so awesome racial features and +2 con.

As for classes good at killing things, sorcerer and wizard are the best at it, between blasting spells, polymorphing, and save or die spells. After that, Druid can eventually turn into things with massive str scores and has a moderate amount of blasting spells as well. After that, Barbarian's probably the best noncasting damage dealer, then Rogue.

You may want to mix 4 levels of Fighter into a Barbarian build for Weapon Specialization, or you could just do Barb 20. The real key is power attacking with a 2 handed weapon, anyway.

If you can pull it off try Ogreon-min ECL 10
Full Ogre, Half-Dragon
Barbarian class levels.
High Strength never not kills things

As far as an answer to your original question specifically - try druid or see if the DM allows natural were-pick an animal.

Class levels are better than racial hit dice and level adjustment.
