Class Ideas V.2

Ok, I came to you all previously asking for ideas on what class to use in a particular campaign and the idea I was mostly given was druid.... Well after one scene the DM doesn't want me to play as one anymore, due to an interesting use of Wolf trips, Pins, and the Create Water spell (yes, I killed someone with it. So sue me). So I am once again bereft of a character for a lvl 2 campaign. Any more ideas that don't contain such easy to use shenanigans?

Someone else is a monk so.... no.
Pick a class that fits your preferred race and cultural background and meets your goals as an adventurer...

My prefered Class is honestly a Sorc. But I was banned from playing Sorcs, Wizs and Factotums, Clerics, now Druids, Bards (yes bards), and Knights (something about the Challenge being used to survive a lethal disintegrate and being dropped to -5k hp isn't really fair, specially when the cleric has a spell that forces you to have 1 hp if you are any amount below it.) So yea, fun times.

Soulknife? Paladin? Shadowmage?

Are you actually banned from playing sorcerers? If not, I have some ideas...

Also, what sourcebooks & races are usable?

Choose NPC Expert and take Lucid Dreaming and Iajitsu Focus as class skills. Kill people in their sleep or hit them really, really hard when they're not looking.

Name yourself Freddy & make a glove out of knives.

If you want to keep with a outdoorsy feel for your character, what about scout, ranger or barbarian? Or why not just go Fighter?

Your party already has a monk. What else is there?
