Outside of the strong performance of the fighter, I find these results a little surprising: the warlord in 2nd place, the number of leaders still left in it, and the popularity of arcane classes.

Very interesting - the rogue is apparently a very bland class to most people, inspiring enthusiasm neither for nor against it. The warlord is the opposite, a love-it-or-hate-it class.

Meanwhile, the fighter retains its supremacy as the king of 4E classes.

Didn't the rogue finish second in the Survivor series of polls? How can they be voted off so early?

As mentioned in in the Survivor polls, least hated does not necessarily mean most loved, although the fighter won Class Survivor and seems to be doing quite well in Class Idol, too.

Not many people hated the rogue enough to vote for it in Survivor, so it was the last one voted off (leaving the fighter the winner). Lots of people seemed to hate the warlord, so it was the second one to be voted off after the artificer.

On the other hand, in Class Idol, not many people seem to like the rogue, so it didn't get a lot of votes. Lots of people seem to like the warlord, though, and it has performed quite well in all the previous rounds.
