Is anyone else mildly shocked that the Bard (apparently, according to the lists upthread) doesn't get Thievery as a class skill?

Only slightly. Especially as non-class skills are easier for a bard to get than for any other class. (There's a +1 bonus for non-trained skills and a further +3 from an enhanced bard-only Jack of All Trades. And if you want actual training, you can take any number of multiclass feats; dipping Warlock or Rogue for thievery is quite normal IME).Is anyone else mildly shocked that the Bard (apparently, according to the lists upthread) doesn't get Thievery as a class skill?
My level two seeker has +15 perception and +10 insight, there is no getting stuff past usMy halfling wild sorcerer actually started at level 4, but our DM limited us to PH1 and 2 only. For the 3 feats I took Sorcerous blade channeling, sneak of shadow and implement expertise (light blade). I wielded a Subtle dagger+1 for a long while, but I was getting that extra +1 most of the time. The only thing that was really missing from my character was training in stealth. But for thievery, with training, high dex, racial bonus, background bonus and tool bonus I was at +17 thievery at level 4. Rolling a 2 often meant I had successfully disabled the trap or unlocked the door, provided someone else rolled the Perception for me. Might have been overkill, though.
If you can use other source than the PHB, that sorceror can be much more deadly and I would probably consider taking Ghostwise Heritage from the FRPG. Basically you get the same perception as someone else in the party. Also Nimble Dodge from MP2 since MCing as a rogue makes it available.
