Classic 1st edition AD&D Game (Recruiting?)

Hi all you old time players!

It's time to dig out those dusty books and crack them open! Do you miss dragons that CAN be slayed? Do you miss the multiclass sytem? How about the old 18.xx strength? Do you miss level limitations for demi-humans? How about the old monk class, or the old assassin class? If you do, then I invite you to find that old players handbook (you know, the one with the blue cover that has the wizard casting a spell, or older yet, the one with the temple with the statue in it that's been cleared of lizard men).

I'd be looking for 2-4 players (I'm sure that this will only appeal to a small number of people, if any).

AAHH! I only go as far back as 2nd edition in my books. I'd play but I probably shouldn't. But I can remember a LOT from the old books so maybe I will.

Argent, I'll have the books on hand, so I can correct any issues that might come up (or perhaps wortworm will).

Wortworm... welcome to the boards! I'm planning on the very basic so all that you's need is the players handbook. (You do know you ahve the wrong picture for that name, right? )

What does this all mean? No skills, no feats? Heck, other then starting proficencies, no new ones of those! The most basic of basics (other then Basic D&D which I hardly remember, though I still have the box set here)!

So please, come one, come all (Unless 4 players have already joined)!

Oh, anouncement! Roll 4d6, keeping the best 3, 6 times and assign where you want them. Character creation should take about... 10 minutes, if that! Remember the racial limits on ability scores!
