Classic characters--would they work in your game?

Heya Ari,

I'd have to vote no to Warduke in "my" campaign. Our group is very bad about table-talk as it is, and even though I am likely the only one that actually watched the cartoon when it aired originally (being the resident "old fart" of my gaming group) I still think it could be too distracting and lead to at least five to ten minutes of laughter followed by explanations and subsequent reminiscing about other more off-topic junk. But maybe your group is better about that kind of thing than mine?

What may be fun is simply changing the name and some of the more trademark visual devices and after the seesion explain that they fought Warduke. But then again, it'd be a lot more fun knowing during the fight who it was... it's a tough call that really comes down to what you hink your group would prefer.

Who the heck named these guys? I won't even go into the outfits...is Warduke left-handed?

Why is the half-orc a midget?

why...why...WHY!!!!!????

The inclusion of Warduke would be fun and cool, and having fun and cool gaming experiences is why I play D&D in the first place. So I say bring him on.

Having fun with the game trumps everything else in my book.
