Cleric PrC with full spell progression>

I'm making up an evil Cleric 7 / Divine Diciple 5 and am looking for something to do with the rest of his levels that will not slow down his spell progression at all. So far, the best I can find is Contemplative but I'd like something a little more martial or interesting if possible.

Any suggestions? Just about all sources are allowed in this particular campaign. I'm not so interested in optimizing the build - I just want something other than vanilla Cleric that won't cost me spell ability.

Thanks for the help!

It's hard to find a PrC that does what you're saying because other than a decent HD and 3/4ths BAB, the only thing a cleric even gets after level 1 is his spells and turn undead. And giving up turning is no big shakes.

The radiant servant of pelor (clearly unsuitable to your needs) gives up one step of HD and gains a ton of crap (and even keeps the turn undead ability), which makes it top the list of "broken" stuff often posted about on this forum. If you're looking for a more "martial" cleric, the problem is that if you're going to increase a cleric's fighting ability (i.e. not give up HD or BAB), you're going to have to pull from their spellcasting since taking away their turning ability isn't enough. It's hard to balance.

If caster level is the main thing you're worried about, try multi-classing fighter and taking the feat to raise your caster level to your HD (forgot the name). If it's actual spells you're talking about, that'll be a hard find. You'd almost do better to make one yourself.

Good points, and probably why I haven't found anything that I like yet. I guess my hope was that there was a PrC with costly prerequisites to cover the 3/4 BAB and full spelll progression plus the PrC goodies.

Since my main goal is getting that 'next level of spells' as soon as possible, I may end up with Contemplative and just rely on Divine Power to get the BAB where I need it for combat. It's just at these levels, that round of buffing starts to become infeasible.

Hospitalers are decent. You lose 3 caster levels, one off the bat. But you get full BAB, d8, three fighter bonus feats, lay on hands, and remove disease 2/week.

However, contemplative is a solid choice if you're after free domains though. I'd take contemplative to 7 and then take your final level in Cleric as Contemplative 8 offers nothing but a spellcasting increase

Yes: that spell and a couple others will help you become as "martial" as you'd like with no problem. But if you're looking for fast ways to buff up, that's a different question entirely.

I wouldn't be afraid to look at the divine metamagic/persistant spell cheesiness if that's what you're after... :) (In fact, it's arguably less broken for NPCs, since they can't really abuse it all day long.)

Fist of Raziel, from Book of Exalted Deeds, is a full BAB prestige class, with some great smiting abilities, with only a single level of spellcasting lost.
