Timin(Ioun Stone)
Wonderous Item, Rare(unique), (requires attunemnt)

Centuries ago a long dead archmage had an apprentice named Timin. Tasked with cleaning the laboratory, Timin inadvertently knocked over several magic beakers. When the resulting magical explosion cleared, Timin discovered that he had been sucked into a green crystal on a nearby shelf. Timin, as he was in life, is a very helpful, and very talkative companion.

While orbiting your head, Timin has the following abilities.

Int: 17
Wis: 12
Cha: 9

1. Awareness - you cannot be surprised. Timin will shout a warning to you in time to keep you from being surprised.
2. Guidance - Timin has seen and learned many things over the centuries and is willing to share with you what he has learned. When Timin desires(and he desires it often), he will offer up advice on how to accomplish a task at hand, granting you the benefits of the guidance spell.

Clogs of Caution
boots, uncommon, (requires attunement)

This pair of wooden shoes appears to be carved from oak and have an inside lined with some type of fur. Though surprisingly comfortable, the sound of the wooden soles clopping against the ground give you a slight sense of unease. While attuned to the Clogs of Caution, a character gains the ability to cast the Resistance cantrip at a range of self without verbal or material components. However, while a character is concentrating on a Resistance cantrip cast through Clogs of Caution, the character has disadvantage on stealth checks.

Capricious Capris
wondrous item, uncommon, (requires attunement)

This pair of red leather pants embroidered with a motif of laughing faces may seem slightly garish, but, as you hold them in your hand, you start to feel a sense of confidence in how good they would look on you. No matter how you step into them, they fit your waist perfectly, but the length always stops at about the middle of your shins.

Attuning to Capricious Capris requires a character to don the pants and then strut back and forth in front of either an audience or a mirror. While a character is attuned to Capricious Capris, the character gains the ability to cast the Vicious Mockery cantrip. If an attuned character moves at least 10ft before using the Capricious Capris to cast Vicious Mockery, the target has disadvantage on the saving throw.

Un-attuning from the Capricious Capris requires a character to doff the pants. One round after a character finishes doffing the Capricious Capris, the character is targeted as though they had cast Vicious Mockery with a range of self.

GIGGLEFIT'S BOOK OF INSULTS
Wondrous item, uncommon (requires attunement)

This unassuming leather book has its name embossed on the cover and spine in whimsical gold letters, and has the painted image of a laughing jester on the front. The book is filled with cheesy, clownish insults suitable for children, with numerous typos and misspelled words on every page. Despite its humble appearance, the book is enchanted with powerful magic from the Feywild, and those "typos" are actually magical runes and incantations.

While holding and reading from this book, you know the Vicious Mockery cantrip.

RING OF MERCY
Ring, uncommon (requires attunement)

This heavy pewter ring is set with a heart-shaped piece of coral. If you drop to 0 hit points while attuned to this ring, it will automatically cast Resistance and Spare the Dying on you. The ring will not function again until you finish a long rest.

The Begetting Blade
simple melee weapon (special dagger), very rare, (requires attunement)

"...for those who seek to whet the appetite of their blade against bone rather than stone often find returned in kind their flavor of diplomacy."

There is a dull rust-like tint to the otherwise shiny blade of this heavy dagger, but it remains sharp and without defect. The handle is longer than other daggers and gives a noticeable weight to it that would make it poor for throwing, but somehow it feels right in your hand. While looking at the blade, you remember an insult or a slight from yesterday, but then you question whether the memory was real.

The Begetting Blade functions as a +1 dagger with modified statistics: 1d4 piercing, finesse, light, graze. It can be thrown (range 40,) but all ranged attacks with the Begetting Blade have disadvantage to the attack roll. The +1 enhancement is added to attack rolls and damage rolls.

Attunement to the Begetting Blade requires taking a bonus action to pantomime some manner of violent gesture. When a character is attuned to the Begetting Blade, the attuned character gains the ability to cast the True Strike cantrip. While attacking with the Begetting Blade, an attuned character may choose to cast True Strike as part of the action used to make the attack. When an attuned character uses the Begetting Blade to make an attack, the target of the attack gains advantage on the next weapon attack the target makes against the attuned character (even if no longer attuned when that next attack is made).

I love items that grant access to cantrips! A great way to provide a little bit of extra utility and fun to characters with a mostly lateral increase in power.

Staff of the Serpent Kingdom
Staff, weapon, rare (requires attunement)

Beautifully made, this staff is carved and with intricate scales coated in iridescent lacquer and crowned with the hood and head of a cobra, inlaid with silver and gemstone eyes. In melee combat, it functions as a +1 quarterstaff.

When attuned to the staff, you know the Poison Spray and Thaumaturgy cantrips and can cast them as a Magic action using the staff as a focus. If you do not possess a spellcasting feature, Charisma is your spellcasting ability when using the staff.

In addition, the staff has 5 charges. When holding the staff, you may use a Magic action to expend one charge to create a 15-foot Cone of poison. Each creature within the cone must make a Constitution saving throw or take 3d6 Poison damage. When using this power, you may:

Expend an additional charge to increase the cone’s effect to 30-feet, or expend two additional charges to increase the cone’s effect to 45-feet

Expend an additional charge to increase the damage to 6d6, or expend two additional charges to increase the damage to 9d6.

The staff regains 1d4+1 charges each sunrise.

IOUN STONE OF RADIANCE
Wondrous Item (uncommon), requires attunement

This small glass sphere resembles a cat's-eye marble, except the veins of color inside it slowly move and change. While attuned to this ioun stone, you know the Dancing Lights and the Word of Radiance cantrips.
