I saw it; to be fair, it was alright, but it could've been so much better. We came out discussing how we were waiting for Neo to go "KaaaaameeeeeeeehaaaaameeeeeeeHAAAAA!!!"

I'm taking this required class Intro to fitness that's amazingly inane and stupid, and we got this question sheetwe have to do intended fo r a fitness program that says for some questions:
"what activities do you like to do?"
"Which activities do you think are interesting?"
Well, I'm sorely tempted to answer "computer games, D&D, reading" :p

Dude I'm less than 3 feet from you, poke me instead of posting.
Wow, your implant wakes you when there is a post? Mine must be an cheap model. I feel jipped.

Alright, now I implore everyone to please read my Story Hour and lemme know what you think; I finished the first chapter.

You're right Angcuru, this does take a while.

bs, can summarize your storyhour? what kind of game it is or what kind of story? Not so much teh chapter you posted, but the whole thing.

It's loosely based off of a Werewolf the Apocalypse chronicle I played in back in high school; it features the entire pack(RadGunPup, a Cyberdog Glass Walker; Standing Stone, a mute Wendigo; Ryan Beats-The-Odds, a Fianna; Shadow of the Stormcrow, a Ninja Werewolf(yes, I just said Ninja Werewolf); and Colin, the Free Knight of Gaia, Ryan's younger brother); but it also focuses more on Colin, who was my character. It's going to span the entire world and focus on his forbidden romance with another Garou, Greta, the daughter of the Jarl of the Get of Fenris tribe.

Right now I've only got the first chapter up, I think I need some work on writing fight scenes as well; but I'm trying to evoke the emotions(especially working on the chivalry, something that I didn't much get a chance to play up in High School, but it's a big part of Colin, since it clashes with The Litany, the laws of the Garou) inherent in a scene. Lemme know how I'm doing on both counts(emotions and fights, and anything else you think that needs work).

Story Hours are not easy to do. I have two going now with a third in mind. Getting people to reply and give constructive thought on the storyhour is like pulling teeth. It is part of why I no longer update regularly. (I'm sure the 70-75 hours of work is part of that too!)

Keep with it. Nice to see Hivemind is still around.

Fight scenes are hard to write out. What advice I have been given is too concentrate on 1 or 2 characters. In the beginning I would give details on everyone but found it confusing and too complicated.
