I'm pleased that my offspring seems to be doing a pretty good job on her own of demonstrating that I didn't screw up too badly. Yay!

I think one of the main reasons people have children is to be remembered, at least by their children. And for some, to have a child is no big deal. But for others it IS a big deal and a lot of hard work.

However for people to be remembered by peers and others is a big achievement.

So my answer: At the moment I have not left a mark, but for me my mark would be to have children who would remember what sacrificies their parents went through just for them to be born.
