A three foot tall humanoid with leathery skin moves to 60N100E. He is covered in blotches of color that would be perfect camouflage in a forest environment, but look downright silly in the arena. He wears leather armore and holds a dart in one hand and a dagger in his scabbard. He stares at Maggie intently.

Maggies laughs loudly at the silly little humanoid. She, yes Maggie prefers to be called a magwoman, calls out in ignan, "Are you French?"

She then runs to 60N95E.

OOC: I forgot to tell you how the forestman was equipped, so you can change your move if you want.

Nope, no change. I guess he can throw the dart, but then Maggie will kick his ass.

Round 247

As soon as Maggie gets to 60N70E, Frenchie lets out a piercing shriek. Maggies resists it, (rolled 22 Fort save), but takes 2 points of sonic damage and has 8 hp left.

Maggie continues running, but Frenchie doesn't get fried. (Rolled 13 Fort save)

Round 248:

Frenchie backs up to 60N105E, throws his dart, and draws his dagger. The dart hits, (rolled 21), but it melts into slag before it causes Maggie any wounds.

"I'm gonna turn you into a French Fry!"

Maggie steps forward and touches Frenchie.

OOC: Do you think the dart would still do damage? I know it melts, but I think it would still hurt first.

OOC: I took liberties with your heat to describe your DR - the net effect was that you were hit for 0.

Maggie misses with her touch (rolled 9) and Frenchie resists her heat aura. (Rolled 19 Fort save)

Round 249:

Frenchie misses with his dagger and bite. (Rolled 16 & 12)

Maggie will keep trying to touch Frenchy until he turns into a flaming ball. If he runs away, she'll chase him around the arena (charging as necessary).

Frenchie dodges Maggie (rolled 11 touch), but takes a point of damage from the aura. He has 17 hp left.

Round 250: Frenchie misses, Maggies hits for 6. No combustion but another 2 from aura. Frenchie has 9 hp left.

Round 251: Frenchie hits for 0 with the dagger. Maggie hits for 8. No combustion, no aura. Frenchie has 1 hp left.

Round 252: Frenchie hits for 0 with the dagger. Maggie hits for 5.

Round 253: The slaughter is over!

A creature that looks like an ape that is completely on fire moves to 60N105E and claws Maggie for 7-5=2 points of damage, plus some fire damage which Maggie enjoys. Maggie has 6 hp left.

"What's up with all the fire-based opponents!"

Maggie shakes her fist at the eastern side of the arena. She will bash this ape into a bloody pulp, attacking until one or the other is dead. I think it's obvious that touching him will do no good. If she can't affect him (possibly due to DR), then she will attempt to bull rush it out of the arena.

Two fire elementals going at it? What are the odds?
