CN vs. N: Chaotic Neutral Victorious!

Round 260

The fire goes out without causing further damage. Bogart charges to 60N55E.

Miss! (Rolled 12+2 for charge = 14) The lizard bites back! (Rolled 25) 9-5 = 4 points of damage! Bogart is disabled and the lizard hangs on! (Rolled 30 vs. 15 Grp check)

OOC: This lizard is as big as a horse btw.

Round 261

The claw misses! (Rolled 8-4 = 4) The lizard stays put and enjoys a nice snack.

Round 262: The boggle is defeated!

Next up for CN: an anarchic satyr. (Planar Handbook) It goes first in round 262, but has no pipes.

OOC: I have the Manual of the Planes, not the Planar Handbook, but I can easily enough add the anarchic template to a satyr with pipes. The only real additional ability he gets is Smite Law, which is useless here. He also gains fast healing 1 and some more resistances, but you have to deal with that anyway. If that's okay, I'll run with it.

Apip the Pipeless steps into the arena to 55N0E, hoping to do as well as his slightly less chaotic cousin, Pip. He fires the shortbow at the lizard, shifts the bow to his off-hand, then draws his dagger and maintains a dodgy attitude towards the dinosaur, so to speak.

Unlike Pip, Apip looks...unfinished. His chestnut hair is a little darker and even more unkempt, parts of it shorter than others, but it doesn't look like it was cut that way on purpose. One leg has a different length, as well, though it doesn't seem to affect his movement.

Apip calls out, more for the crowd's benefit than anything, "Come on, ye stupid animal! Charge to yer death and get this over with!"

"Ye kinnot hit tha broad side o' a barn, ye big galoot!"

Apip will take a step to 50N5E and attack with a headbutt and dagger until one or the another is down or unconscious. Apip, of course, is relying on the fact that the dinosaur is not made out of cold iron. :)

Round 263

Apip head butts for 3. The lizard has 27 hp left. It misses.

Round 264: Apip head butts for 2, lizard misses and has 25 hp left.

Round 265: Apip head butts for 1, lizard bites for 9-5 = 4 and grabs on.

Apip has 18 hp and is grappled. What does he do now?

"If only I had me pipes."

There's much Apip can do beside continue attacking with his headbutt. Can he also still attack with the dagger in a grapple? I know you can't use TWF, but I'm not sure if natural weapons plus a single manufactured weapon would count as TWF. :)

Anyway, continue until one or the other drops.

OOC: If it doesn't have TWF penalties, then I guess it's not TWF.

Round 266: Apip head butts for 3 and heals to 19 hp. Lizard chomps for 12-5 = 7. Lizard has 22 hp, Apip 12 hp.

Round 267: Apip misses and heals, lizard chomps for 10-5=5. Apip has 8 hp left.

Round 268: Apip head butts for 2 and heals, lizard chomps for 8-5=3. Lizard has 20 hp, Apip 6 hp.

Round 269: Apip misses and heals, lizard fails to chomp. Apip has 7 hp.

Round 270: Same as above. Apip has 8 hp.

Round 271: Apip misses and heals, lizard chomps for 7-5=2. Apip has 7 hp.

Round 272: Apip head butts for 4 and heals, lizard fails to chomp. Lizard has 16 hp, Apip 8 hp.

Round 273: Apip head butts for 4 and heals, lizard chomps for 11-5=6. Lizard has 12 hp, Apip 3 hp.

Round 274: Both miss. Apip has 4 hp.

Round 275: Apip misses and heals, lizard chomps for 13-5=8!

Round 276: Apip is defeated! A valiant effort nonetheless.

Next up for CN: a spriggan. (FF) The spriggan goes first in round 276 and can enter the arena in either form.
