CN vs. N: Chaotic Neutral Victorious!

OOC: Oh yeah, I should have remembered that.

Round 276:

An ugly, greasy, smelly gnome with reddish brown hair and yellow skin moves to 115N5E. He wears a chain shirt and wields a short sword. He concentrates and then hisses menacingly at the lizard.

The lizard runs out of the arena! (Rolled 7 Will save)

Up next for N: a large animated table. (MM) It goes next in round 276. Have fun!

Go CN! Er, I mean, Boo! Hiss!

A solid oak table covered in beer stains ambles into the arena, running all the way up to the dirty gnome to 110N10E. A chipped and dirty plate balances precariously on top of the table, miraculously not sliding off even as the animated object runs across the battlefield. The leftover bits of egg and ham on the plate look enticing to the spriggan.

Round 277:

Spriggy steps to 115N0E, concentrates, and a small flame appears in his palm. He throws it at the table and a new flame takes its place. The flame hits! (Rolled 13 touch) The table takes 8 points of fire damage and has 44 hp left.

If you'll allow the table to perform an action other than attacking, it bull rushes the spriggan out of the arena. Otherwise, it merely steps forward to 110N5E and attacks with its legs, slamming into the filthy gnome until he's dead. Through all this, the plate remains on top of the table, sliding around, but never quite falling of the edge.

The table moves into Spriggy's square. Spriggy burns it for another 9 points of damage. The table has 35 hp.

Spriggy gets bounced out of the arena! (Rolled 12 vs. 1 Str check)

Next up for CN: a vodyanoi. (Frostburn) It goes first in round 278.

For once, arena violence is not garnering the most bets in the lounge. Instead it is the "fall and break" vs. "slide but safe" wagering on the fate of the crockery.

An old, green man with hair made of green and yellow reeds steps into the arena at 105N0E, and claws at the table, trying to knock that stupid plate off. Yanni the vodyanoi from Hanoi wonders outloud in Sylvan, "Why couldn't they put a body of water in this stinking dirtpile of an arena?"

OOC: Yanni has little choice but go toe to toe with this table and hope for the best. Most of his special abilities are useless in the arena and some of them are useless against a construct. You could almost say he's like a fish outta water.

Round 278: Yanni hits with a claw, but can't penetrate the table's hardness. The table misses.

Round 279: Yanni hits twice for 1, table crits for 18! Yanni has 4 hp, table has 34 hp.

Round 280: Yanni hits twice for 0, table slams for 11. Bye-bye Yanni.

Next up for CN: a very young fang dragon. (Draconomicon)

The dragon goes first in round 281 and has the feats Alertness, Flyby Attack, and Power Attack.

Fang II steps over Yanni's corpse and begins the same course of action. For once, Fang II curses that he has no ranged breath weapon. He executes a full attack on the table, putting 3 points into power attack.

OOC: To help you out, his attacks are normally bite +8 (1d8+1) and 2 claws +3 (1d6). Don't time compress yet, please. He might change tactics. :)

Round 281

The dragon hits with a claw and a bite for 20-10 = 10 points of damage total! The table has 24 hp left.

The table slams for 7. Fang has 38 hp left.
