OOC: Since this thing is going to last for 500 rounds, I'm going to need an exact coordinate and spread it 20 feet from that point. Normally a coordinate means the SW corner of a square, but in this case the coordinate will mean the exact intersection.

Round 326:

Ebon hears cursing coming from the cloud, then ritual chanting. He then sees Rick at the western edge of the cloud. (The position depends on where you center it.)

OOC: I was hoping that four I gave would provide a point, but using the ole' SW corner of square works better. So it would be the point at the SW corner of 85n 95e.

Ebon will move to 55n 55e and throw a javelin at the fogged-in Rick.

OOC: My bad, Rick had to go SW to get to the edge, putting him at 70N85E.

The javelin misses. (Rolled 13-2 for long range = 11)

Round 327:

Rick drops his bow, pulls out his longspear while moving to 55N65E, and hits Ebon. (Rolled 20, beat miss chance) 7 points of damage! Ebon has 9 hp left.

Ebon 5' steps to 50n 50e and drops his second fog clould, this time directly on the SW point of Ricks square, 60n 65e. Then he draws another javelin.

Rick drops his longspear, moves cautiously to 50N55E, and misses with a claw. (Rolled 14)

Ebon 5' steps to 45n 55e, disappearing from Rick's view, takes a Sneak Attack with his javelin, then draws another javelin.

OOC: I think you mean 45N45E, otherwise Ebon is directly south of Rick and Rick can still see him. That takes Ebon out of the cloud, but the sneak attack is still valid.

The javelin misses. (Rolled 7)

Round 329:

Rick steps to 50N50E, at the edge of the cloud, and full attacks.

He hits with both claws (rolled 25 & 24, beat miss chance both times) for 6 total. Ebon has 3 hp left.

OOC: i was of by a square of where Rick was. I should have gone to 55n 45e so I can keep 5' stepping around inside the cloud - however this should still work.

Undeterred by a wound that would have felled a lesser...stalker guy, Ebon withdraws to better setup his next attack. [move first to 45n 50e, then loop east and north, staying at least 10' from Rick, ending at 60n 65e]
