Round 632

Roseanne absorbs two AoO's for 25 total. She has 74 hp left.

Roseanne pushes IMSouth out of the arena! (Rolled 36 vs. 12)

IMCenter concentrates defensively and tells Roseanne to "Flee" in Common. Roseanne doesn't comply. (Rolled 23 Will save) IMCenter steps to 15N20E.

IMNorth regains his sight and runs to 30N20E. Roseanne takes an AoO but misses because IMNorth is blurry. Then she becomes afraid. (Rolled 12 Will save) IMNorth has 107 hp and IMCenter has 105 hp.

Round 633: Roseanne runs out of the arena.

Next up for CN: a young adult fang dragon. (Draconomicon) Back to you, I2K.

The fang dragon has the feats Blind-fight, Flyby Attack, Improved Initiative, Power Attack, Rapidstrike, and Weapon Focus (bite). It has the maxed-out skills Concentration, Knowledge (dungeoneerin, religion), Listen, Search, and Spot. It knows nothing about its opponents other than what it has observed. It knows the following spells:

level 0 - detect magic, detect poison, flare, inflict minor wounds (DC 11)
level 1 - bane, color spray (DC 12)

Fang V's prayers for knowing remove fear didn't pan out.

Fang V flops into the arena to 100N70E15Z, heading south (starting his turn at 110N65E). He then casts shield.

OOC: Doesn't he get one more skill? I was hoping for spellcraft. Did he learn detect magic in case his at will ability runs out? :)

OOC: Sorry about that. I was looking at the row one up. He also has knowledge (nature). Replace detect magic with resistance. I was trying not to make that mistake. The whole time I was rolling spells, I was saying to myself, "Ignore a result of shield, ignore a result of shield."

The IMs are not cowed by Fang V (rolled 22 and 23 Will saves).

Two ice storms hit Fang V (CL level checks 19 and 29) for 18+12 bludgeoning and 10+4 cold damage. Fang V has 98 HP remaining.

Round 634: Fang V bites the earth (natural 1).
IMNorth thinks scary thoughts.

Round 635: Fang V flees the arena (rolled Will save 14 - even remove fear would not have helped - these rilmani are too lucky). The rilmani is in the Hall of Fame!

Next in round 635 for Chaotic Neutral is a juvenile chaos dragon. It has the feats Alertness, Flyby Attack, Power Attack, Recover Breath, Weapon Focus (bite), and Wingover. It has the maxed-out skills Diplomacy, Knowledge (nature, religion, the planes), Listen, Search, Spellcraft, Spot, and Use Magic Device.

It recognizes the annoying Neutral creatures as ferrumach rilmani, and it knows the following: they are outsiders; their outsider traits; they can create a fear aura as a free action as a supernatural ability; they can summon more of their own kind; they have DR which can be bypassed by the dragon's Chaotic nature; and they have traits common to all rilmani (yes, there are more of these sorts of creatures), namely: immunity to electricity and poison; and highly resistant to acid and sonic attacks.

Wow. Tough buggers. So, basically, you're saying that the rilmani are undervalued at the listed CR, and should be something like CR15?

So 3/5 possible energy breaths are useless. Kaos IV moves to 20N0E and breathes a cone of confusion at the two rilmani.

OOC: I think fear effects are more powerful in TBoAA than they would be against a standard party.

Round 635: Both IMCenter (17 Will save) and IMNorth (11 Will save) are [/I]confused. Kaos IV can breathe again in round 637 (yes, I subtracted one from my roll).
IMNorth runs awkwardly (due to its full plate armor) to 30N80E. IMCenter stands there, mumbling something that sounds like, "hamina, hamina, bbbb, hamina...".
