Thousands of 4-inch winged fairies in all the colors of the rainbow comes flying very fast (running) and occupy spaces 60N110E, 60N105E, 60N100E, and 60N95E, biting and clawing IMCenter and IMSouth (if not scared away first).

IMCenter and IMSouth take AoO's, but they have no effect.

Neither IM takes any damage. (DR at least 10)

The swarm is not afraid of IMCenter (rolled 19 Will save), but it is afraid of IMSouth (rolled 13 Will save). All the IM's tell the swarm to "Flee!", one in Common, one in Undercommon, and one in Sylvan, but the swarm is already on its way.

Round 625:

The swarm runs out of the arena.

A shimmering humanoid form of quicksilver enters the arena at 70N and moves fluidly across the ground to 70N25E, then sinks below ground without a trace and earth glides to 70N50E-5Z. Since Pietro cannot sense anything underground (I mean, really, how stupid is it that he doesn't have tremorsense?), next round he will earth glide to 70N70E, pokes his head up (0Z, then down to 5Z), let me know where the IM's are so that I can plan the remaining action of that round.

When Pietro pops up, he only sees IMNorth at 90N70E. IMNorth moves toward him to 75N70E. Pietro is not afraid of IMNorth. (Rolled 26 Will save) IMNorth does threaten his square, however.

Pietro still has cover, though, right? Anyway, hoping that the others are invisible and nearby, Pietro executes the dreaded prismatic flash.

OOC: Yes, you can have cover if you want to.

IMNorth is blinded and is hit by an orange ray. He fails to dodge (rolled 15 Ref save), but resists half of the acid anyway. He takes 20 points of acid damage and has 89 hp left.

He steps back 5 feet to 80N70E and concentrates defensively. He heals to 107 hp.

Something at 70N75E-5Z bumps into Pietro. A small sand dragon pops his head up at 70N75E0Z (with cover). Pietro is afraid (rolled 12 Will save).

Round 627: Pietro runs out of the arena.

So, IMNorth is there and a small sand dragon is there, but the third one is not visible, right? Is there anything these things can't do? Btw, if you're blind you can't take a 5ft-step, but as he made his concentration check on the spell, it really doesn't matter. I'm thinking of going to buy the planar handbook just to see what this unbelievably powerful fear ability is. I just can't believe this thing is CR9.

As for Howler, he's just gonna fly to the ceiling and try to stay out of range of these guys. He will start at 0N0E and end up at 0N100E100Z, heading east.

OOC: These guys are from the FF, I don't want you to buy the wrong book. Ignore the unnecessary 5 foot move by IMNorth, he'll stay at 75N70E.

Another small sand dragon pops up at 70N50E. It concentrates and an ice storm appears at 20N100E80Z. Howler is not affected. (Rolled 10 SR check)

The other sand dragon changes into a medium-sized arrowhawk and flies to 70N75E60Z.

Howler will loop around, ending up at 70N75E100Z, heading west, and yell downwards on the arrowhawk. He will then continue to 70N50E.
