CN vs. N: Chaotic Neutral Victorious!

OOC: You are correct. I thought it did not matter because once you are hit with an AoO all grapple attempts are off, but that is not true. You still get your two other attempts.

The bird hit with both AoOs (worst roll 33) for 27. Phoebe is at 45 HP.

I assume that Pheobe does not die when she changes into a sand dragon. I do not know its Constitution.

Round 610: Phoebe changes into a sand dragon, and buries herself.

A draw is declared in the middle of round 614.

A normal appearing snake, albeit a large one, slithers into the arena to 30N90E.

First in round 615 for Chaotic Neutral is a trilloch (MM III). It looks like you will need help, Infiniti, unless you choose to take the legendary snake.

OOC: Gansk, the upcoming combat is an automatic draw, because neither combatant can harm nor control nor drive the other out of the arena. I will go ahead and introduce the next two combatants.

A draw is declared in the middle of round 619.

I just realized I cannot introduce the Neutral combatant that is supposed to come in at the end of round 619 because I do not know what it is.

Nope, but she does lose 15 more hit points from dropping the Con from 17 to 15. In other news, what in the world is a trilloch that the combat isn't even run? Is that a BoAA first? ;)

It might be a first, but it did not have to be. In the Mechanus Arena, I had a maug fight something incorporeal, and we could not affect each other at all.
The trilloch can do no damage, and is naturally invisible and incorporeal. All it can do is instill rage in others and death knell when they are at negative HP. It is just like that thing from the original Star Trek that made the Klingons and Enterprise crew fight against each other, because it fed off of hate and death. They ended up laughing at it to scare it away, because it did not like happy emotions.
 

Round 619

A powerfully muscled man made of iron enters the arena at 60N100E. He wears full plate armor and has a heavy steel shield strapped to his back. He carries a heavy lance in one hand and a battleaxe in the other.

He looks at his lance and says "Where's my kuldurath mount?" He drops the lance and concentrates. Two more men, identical to the first, appear at 90N70E and 30N70E.

These men each say "Where's my mount?" and drop their lances. They concentrate and become blurry.

Next up for CN in round 620: a blue slaad. (MM)
 

A large, hulking blue toad enters the arena, walking almost upright. It's tree-trunk-thick arms hang down to the dirt floor and two long blade-like claws extend from the backs of his hands. He grunts, gazing across the battlefield and says, "Hulk Smash!"

The Hulk also concentrates and tries to summon Hulk2 as far east as possible from his position at 60N25E, which would be 60N70E. Both Hulks will have their Dodge on the center Iron Man. If Hulk2 shows up, he will start things rolling by charging to 60N90E and biting him*.

* Can he charge to 90E or must he stop at 85E? I'd rather he make it to 90E. Note that I'd rather he try to bite even though it's a secondary natural attack. I know some don't allow it because it's secondary, so let me know what you think.

I think 90E is OK and I have already had other creatures use secondary attacks first, as long as the attack bonus remains the same.

Round 620

Hulk2 shows up! OOC: Cool, a battle royal! Hulk1 should be at 60N20E.

Hulk2 takes a chomp out of IMCenter. (Rolled 29+2) 12 points of damage leaves him with 96 hp remaining.

All of the Iron Men ready their shields. IMCenter takes a 5 foot step back to 60N105E and concentrates defensively. He becomes blurry. Hulk2 feels a twinge of fear, but decides not to run away. (Rolled 21 Will save)

The other two IM's also concentrate. Two ice storms appear, one centered at 60N20E and the other centered at 60N80E. Hulk1 takes 11+10-5=16 and has 52 hp left. Hulk2 takes 6+11-5=12 and has 61 hp left.
 

Hulk1 moves forward to 70N30E (half speed so that's a single move action) and then concentrates, bringing down the Hammer of Slaadivicious, God of Salads, centered on IMNorth at 90N70E. He also puts his Dodge on IMNorth.

Hulk2 stays put and claws and bites the crap outta IMCenter.
 

Round 621

IMNorth ignores the blast. (Rolled 16 SR check) Hulk1 heals to 57 hp.

Hulk2 hits with one claw. (Rolled 30, highest missing roll 22) IMCenter takes 17 points of damage and has 79 hp left. Hulk2 heals to 66 hp.

IMCenter concentrates defensively and heals to 92 hp. IMNorth concentrates and another ice storm centered at 70N30E hits Hulk1 for 11+7-5=13. Hulk1 has 44 hp.

IMSouth moves to 50N75E and says "Flee!" in Common. Hulk2 doesn't understand.
 

Hulk1 moves to 85N60E, Dodge still on IMNorth.

Hulk2 takes a 5ft-step to 60N95E and bites and claws the crap outta IMCenter again, Dodge on IMCenter.
