CN vs. N: Chaotic Neutral Victorious!

No-Face doesn't even respond. The odd pattern on its face swirls and mysteriously reforms into a different rune. Not particularly bright, No-Face tries to bull rush Ethel in the other direction. Maybe he just wants to show the bloody dragon the new and improved method of bull rushing.

No-Face pushes Ethel back 20 feet to 70N30E (33 vs. 18 Str check).

Round 672: Ethel, realizing No-Face is much better at pushing than she is, breathes a wave of force at No-Face, who is too busy pushing to evade it (rolled 17 Ref save). Ethel was too busy being pushed to get a really good breath, so No-Face takes 29 points of force damage. No-Face has 50 HP remaining.

No-Face continues pushing Ethel towards the east side of the arena. Up in the stands, General I2K comments, "That construct is as dumb as a bag o' hammers."

No-Face pushes Ethel back 10 feet to 70N40E (16 vs. 8 Str check).

Round 673: Ethel attacks with fury, hitting with claw, wing, tail, and bite (worst hitting roll 25, best missing roll 18) for a total of 1 point of damage (the tail is the only attack that beat DR). No-Face has 49 HP remaining.

No-Face plans to bull rush Ethel out of the arena. He cannot change tactics again, so maybe time compress? If bull rushing is no longer possible, I'm not sure if No-Face is allowed to change tactics again (I assume so).

No-Face is allowed to change if tactics are no longer possible.

Next for Chaotic Neutra in round 677 is a marid (genie) (Manual of the Planes). I will need the stats E-mailed to me, please.

Oh, so close! That's a long way to push a dragon, I'll tell you what! Too bad No-Face was so stupid. :)

I'll post the stats when I post a move (not bust a move) tonight, in a spoiler block.

A 16ft-tall, hairless, translucent-blue human wobbles into the arena on watery legs. He wears finery woven entirely from seaweed with a brocade of coral and pearls. Marty speaks telepathically to Ethel. "If you leave this arena right now, I'll grant you a wish." He moves to 20N10E and casts solid fog, centered at 75N95E.

What does Marty know about ethereal dragons, if anything?

HD 11; hp 71; Spd 20 swim 60
AC 19 (touch 12); Space/Reach 10/10; Fort +9, Ref +10, Will +9
Slam +16/+11 (1d8+9) (I think this has to be wrong, but the 3.5 update doesn't mention anything.)

SR 27, telepathy

Marty knows that Ethel is an ethereal dragon; her dragon traits; she has good DR/magic; she can see ethereal creatures and can see farther on the Material Plane when on the Ethereal Plane; she is immune to ether cyclones (whatever they are); her breath weapon is a cone of force; and she can use blink as a spell-like ability.

OOC: Great, that fog is going to be around for a while. Time to get out the graph paper.

Round 678: Ethel does something, but Marty does not see through the fog to know what it is. Marty's move.
