OOC: I should have Ethel surrender just to limit how many of these &@#! solid fogs there are in this arena.

Round 680: Ethel emerges from the fog and is at 75N45E. She is disappearing and reappearing at random intervals. Marty can tell that Ethel is under the effects of blink.

OOC: Note that see invisible allows Marty to see into the ethereal, so that eliminates the concealment aspect of blink. I don't envy you figuring out how blink works in conjunction with solid fog.

Marty's betting that Ethel looks so mad she could spit. He drops another solid fog at 75N45E. Marty wishes he had a damaging spell-like ability or that he wasn't so gimped in an arena without water.

OOC: I had to ask my wife, whose thesis had something to do with algebraic topology. :)

OOC: And I thought Gansk's wizard was a pain with solid fog, and he only casts one an encounter at most. :\

The fog has water in it. Why doesn't Marty approach the fog?

OOC: I made an error in reporting Ethel's position. She was at 75N50E, so I will center the fog at 75N50E, unless requested otherwise.

Round 681: Marty does not see Ethel. She maybe would spit, but ranged attacks are not allowed out of a solid fog. Go ahead, Marty.

Marty prefers to have the third wall of fog centered at 75N45E. Quite honestly, that was the plan anyway even if Marty couldn't see Ethel. I guess you can see 5ft into a solid fog, right? I see nothing about that aspect of fog cloud changing, so Marty could in fact see Ethel at her revised position of 75N50E (just inside the fog).

Oh, and thanks, but there's not enough water to form a vortex. :)

Marty casts solid fog at 50N30E and moves east southeast to 15N30E. I'm assuming Ethel can figure out Marty's plan. :)

Erase erase erase scribble. OK, the fog has been moved back to 75N45E. Marty saw Ethel because half of her was sticking out of the cloud, and Marty had an line of sight to that area.

Round 682: Ethel comes partially out of the fog to 50N50E. She breathes at Marty, who is pummeled by waves of force (57% on Ethereal chance). He is surprised she even got out (rolled 13 Ref save), and takes 30 points of force damage. Marty has 41 HP remaining. Ethel is assuming that Marty can figure out her plan.

Marty is not scared of Ethel (rolled 27 Will save).

OOC: I'm still curious, can you see 5ft into a solid fog as concealment?

Marty grunts in pain and casts solid fog centered at 40N50E. Marty ensures that the generals and moderators will remember him long into the later rounds of Limbo combat. He then slithers to 20N10E.
