OOC: You're right about the darkness. Normally gray slaads have items to help them out (like in the picture in the Monster Manual), but I guess this one is completely naked.

A 10 foot diameter pool of liquid, forming four tentacles, moves to 0N80E.

Greystoke recognizes the creature as a shaboath, a construct made from the fluids of aboleth savants. It has construct traits and likes to grab victims with its tentacles and engulf them in the liquid, crushing and drowning them simultaneously.

As long as Shabby is not immune to electricity and has no ranged attacks, I'm thinking that a long series of consecutive lightning bolts will finish it off. Or, perhaps, some chaos hammers.
