CN vs. N: Chaotic Neutral Victorious!

That word must not mean what you think it means, because the iron cat ignores Eddie's obnoxiously loud breath. Maybe the cat is deaf.

A draw is declared at the end of round 771.

From the Neutral side of the arena, a gargantual bipedal lizard thunders in to 0N80E. It has a large, saillike, ribbed fin on its back.

Next for Chaotic Neutral is an adult fang dragon (Draconomicon).

It has 17 ranks in the skills Knowledge (arcana, nobiliity), Listen, Search, Sense Motive, Spellcraft, and Spot.

It has the feats Ability Focus (bite), Empower Spell-like Ability (spell turning), Flyby Attack, Great Fortitude, Improved Critical (bite), Weapon Focus (bite), and Wingover.

Its spells known are:

0 level - acid splash, cure minor wounds, flare, mending, touch of fatigue
1st level - command, summon monster I, true strike

It knows nothing about its opponent.

OOC: Maybe the cat is deaf, but that certainly does not determine whether it's immune. Being deaf only makes you immune to mind-affecting sonic attacks (such as the other breath weapon), but not sonic attacks "such as those that deal damage."

I had no idea what it was. :)

Do you want the lizard to squeeze around the wall of ice or is it at, say, 100N? Regardless, Fang VI is going to fly in as far north/south away from the creature as possible (0N or 110N) and go to 60E30Z, heading east and cast shield.

I do not know where the bowl of ice is. If it is to the south, the lizard entered at 100N.

Round 772

The lizard waits for the dragon where it is.

There is a 15ft-radius hemisphere (upside-down bowl) wall of ice centered at 25N85E. It was cast/created by the ice paraelemental I think. Greystoke, the gray slaad, punctured a hole in the top, southwest section.

Fang casts empowered spell turning and curls northward to end up at 40N80E50Z, heading north.

Fang will fly to 100N80E at an altitude 30ft above the lizard's head (currently at 50Z, to a maximum of 75Z, turning to face northwest -- I'm not sure how tall Godzilla is, but he's probably pretty tall) and cast acid splash.

Assuming the lizard remains stationary, Fang will attempt to command it to flee in draconic, and then curl to the west to 100N20E, do an wingover and be heading East (same height).

The lizard would be 30 feet tall.

Fang VI hits the lizard with a ball of acid (rolled 29 ranged touch) for 1 point of acid damage. Only 221 acid balls more and the lizard is defeated.

Round 774

The lizard bellows, a terrifyingly loud sound, but Fang withstands it (rolled 22 Will save).

The lizard does not seem to understand what Fang is saying.

OOC: I had a nice, long post and lost it when I hit Sumit Reply right before ENWorld stopped responding.

Fang flies to 100N80E, does a wingover (heading west) and casts acid splash again.

Fang then continues flying west to end up at 100N20E60Z and do another wingover, heading east and cast true strike.

Fang then flies in to attack the lizard defensively (might as well get some use out of the true strike), landing at 100N70E. Further attacks will not be defensive and feel free to time compress the rest of the combat unless something changes. If Fang is grappled, he will continue to attack with all of his natural weapons.
