Col. Pladoh! Question about DnD cartoon characters!

Anyone else here of an appropriate age to have played with the LJN action figures that were around the same time the series was on TV?

Oh yeah. I used to have the bendable rubber guys of the Grell, Hydra, Chimera, and Neo-Otyugh, the Umber Hulk and Shambling Mound, and the small figures of the Bullywugs, the Orcs, and the Skeletons. As I recall, I mutilated some of them (as in, broke off the Umber Hulk's pincers).

I wonder where they are...

Back to the orginal question: What was Venger? What about Dumgeonmaster?

Venger was one bad-@$$ villain with bad hair tucked in his hat. Dungoenmaster was a toady little do-gooder guy who reminds me of my 11th grade geometry teacher.

great show , it was.

if you haven't read the final episode treatment on the web (do a search), go treat yourself.

too bad it was never made... :(

Venger was pretty big. I would guess he was a fiendish wizard of some sort. Dungeon Master looks like he was a gnome. My guesses, anyway.

I highly doubt that the D&D cartoon will resurface... The UCSM (Uppity Christian Soccer Mom) who started B.A.D.D (bothered about dungeons and dragons, not bothered about disposable dragons, mind you!) did a pretty good job of making D&D evil...
