I was thinking of setting up a thread to tell a collaborative story, i.e. a story that multiple EN memebers can write as a group. But I am a little unsure of where to put it. I was originally considering Off Topic, but that seems to be for completely non-roleplay stuff (which, AFAIK, collaborative storytelling isnt; its basically rule-less roleplaying), and I will need polls to let people guide the story, which OT doesnt allow.
"Story Hour" would seem the logical home for it, but I am not sure if that is strictly for off-board roleplaying games already played by members? If stories are accepted in a slightly broader understanding than just campaign retellings, I think it might be the perfect spot. I just need to check if I am right or not?
My third thought is General RPG Discussion, mainly because it seems to be the board best balanced between "its related to RPGs" and "its not an actual RPG". But it does seem that it might still lean too far towards "it has to be an actual RPG" to include collaborative storytelling. I am not sure.
So my question summarized is: Which board should I start a collaborative storytelling thread in on EN Worlds?
