I am making up the characters for the Undead Hunter campaign. 1 player wants to play a ultra good guy Cleric (with domain in good & healing) so I was thinking of some or all of the following. he will be about 10th to 12th level, I wanted to add 1/2 celestial package, saint template and vow of poverty. Is this even possible? This package really would make him the ultimate good guy..but what would be the ultimate conclusion of this combo.

I don't know the stats of saint template. But for stacking templates, read the rules in P.291 of the 3.5e Monster Manual.

Don't forget to add up all the level adjustments. He may get a lot of special abilities. But he may be in much lower character level than other PCs.

Saint is a purposefully low +2 LA that requires a bunch of things in addition to 3 Exlated Feats(which are hard enough to qualify for in the first place).

I don't think that kind of template is something good to just start out with. Earning it is fine, but its way too powerful and truly more of a reward for being an Exalted character than just something to slap on a PC.

Hm. So his LA is now +4 (from half celestial) +2 (from saint) =+6. He is now 6 levels behind core-race PCs. A 4th-level cleric in 10th-level party? I am afraid that he is simply too weak.

when you see the ability score bonuses templates are hard to resist.

When you factor in the celestial bonuses to attributes and to immunities, DR, SP innate spell abilities wow sure looks good, I told the player it cost four levels he told me to go ^%$#%$# myself!

So I guess I dont need to worry about the celestial template.
