[Comic] Nemi goes D&D

Nemi is a Norwegian cartoon about a young woman who loves black metal, spiders, and Lord of The Rings. She often frequents the local pubs and has a very active (if somewhat fragmented) sex-life. Now, apparantly, she has taken to gaming:

1. The zombies are coming and you have few hitpoints left!
-Brains.

2. -One! And Nemi is out!

3. -Mmm delicious brain tissue
-Nooo, don't let them devour me! Ayeee!

4. -With such an imagination maybe she should have been the Game Master?
-Or in a padded cell.
-I don't want to DIE!

Okay, it's not the best Nemi comic I've ever read but I'm happy she got to try out D&D!

Is she making the sign of the cross with her fingers in the first frame? It's hard to see.

Yup. I would say so. At least I'd imagine Nemi doing such a thing. She's the best thing out of Norway since A-ha.

Nemi is also available every weekday in the free UK newspaper in London (and other cities) called Metro.. Probably the best thing in it! I never realised that she was the spawn of another nation

Oo, Metro. Scourge of the newspaper world. Swedish paper in fact. In Paris the people handing out Metro had to fist-fight the newspaper-vendors... Publishing can be tough.

Oh, rad! When my wife and I honeymooned in Norway last year, I was entranced by the Nemi comics, and desperately wanted to understand the words. I got a book of Nemi for my goth brother. Now I can show him the English translations. Thanks, plane sailing!

On a related note, I just want to point out that no mainstream paper in the US would ever carry the first comic on plane sailing's link. Can you imagine that T-shirt appearing in Cathy or Dennis the Menace?
